4GB is plenty....I have 5 full games on a 2GB stick plus about 60 songs....enough for me.
Import a silver one if you have to....it's great, and it doesn't show dirt or fingerprints (unless the prints are on the screen, of course).
The silver one is indeed nice. I like it a lot more than the 1st fat PSP black I had a while back.
EDIT**
Oh, and buy screen protection film for the PSP's screen, as it scratches and blemishes easily.
...
Nice find...
anyways, I knew something looked a little familiar about that london track...
@ original poster:
I have used Macs and all styles of Unix / Linux....and needless to say...they are FAR more of a pleasure to use than ugly and brash Windows.
The only point that is valid is gaming. If you want a proper gaming machine, you at least need Windows XP. You really can't argue that.
But for everything else, I have Ubuntu with Compiz Fusion dual-booted, so I'm set =)
I think people with avatars / usernames like yourself should just be insta-banned to the open zone.
No one can see the future.
Just buy the damned game FIRST and THEN we'll see how the sales turn out.
I'm also thinking that there should be little to no lag if you connect directly through your home network....why there is still lag even then is a mystery to me.
I like the sense of speed and all...but the camera pullback is WAY too intense and the whole back-forward pull in - zoom out thing will make people sick to their stomachs...jeez...
What a wonderfully intelligent rebuttal, MadMax.
Did you have to think long about that one?
I just picked up a silver PSP slim....and I bought daxter, all the crash bandicoot PSOne titles, and socom FTB 2, along with Twisted Metal 2...and I crammed the rest of the space with a bunch of my favorite songs.
Needless to say...I really am liking this handheld, and I am loving the inter-connectivity with the PS3. The remote play I don't really like because of the lag that's involved, but the whole remote music control thing that was added in 2.20 was neat.
Anyway...
Isn't this a restatement of the obvious?
Also...the PS3 "may" see a big year is the incorrect wording.
The PS3 *WILL* see a big year. I'd bet anything on that.
I just got a job in the electronics section at Target...I'm looking forward to it.
Can't wait to wade through the sea of curious shoppers! lol....
It's expected....no...*inevitable*. ..how is this news?
Is anyone surprised by this?
I'm not, frankly...
Most of my classmates couldn't afford Photoshop even WITH their student discount....so they pirate it....it's quite common, and I actually know very few people who have purchased the entire CS suite, price being the reason.
Most beginning graphic designers that NEED photoshop CAN'T afford to purchase it, which is rather absurd...
One thing I have tried recently is GIMP....that free photoshop-c...
Amen.
I have done what this guy did no less than FOUR times, and they have NEVER called the COPS on me!
Each time, however, I DID embarrass the fukc out of the best buy store manager...and each time thereafter I received a price adjustment.
The first time it happened was when I went to buy an 8600GT card that the manufacturer (BFG) listed at 139....but at best buy it was.... TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY dollars!!!!
I demanded they tell me exactly why their prices ar...
That is....saddening...my heart sank when I read that.
Are there really people in the world this shallow and self-serving?
*sigh*
THe destruction in this game is laughable. Pre-defined, pre-set pieces triggered by explosions.
*sarcasm* Isn't that wonderful to hear about a game that claims it's all about destruction? */sarcasm*
*rolls eyes*
From the preview:
"The destruction clearly isn't dynamic and is instead a set of pre-defined cutouts that can be blown off of buildings."
THAT is my problem with a game that claims it's all about destruction.
SEVERELY disappointing.
@MadMax:
You have the right to want what ever you want, but the plain truth is the PS3 is MUCH MORE than just a gaming machine.
That's the long short of it, the whole shebang, the whole kit n' kaboodle, WHATEVER....get used to it.
With the modern proliferation of multi-function devices, saying that a simple, one-function device should rule the market is just plain dumb.
Multi-function devices are a way of life now, so accept it or get left b...
