For sure, and i'm not denying that it has a certain popularity in other countries than Japan, but it's not the phenomenon as in Japan, and i think the title "Monster Hunter" sounds like a very... no, VERY generic title for a video game. I think it might scare some people away before even giving it a chance, because it seems like something anyone could have come up with.

It's just the fact that in the mainstream audience there are many people who still do...

David Cage is as arrogant as any man can be. He isn't very humble to other gamers and developers, nor does he seem to respect them. He's always makiking that typical childish fuss "Well i'm doing it like THIS, so i don't see why YOU are not doing it the same way that I do it"

We'll give you an applause Cage. Heavy Rain was an evolution of gaming in a certain direction, but it doesn't mean that other games need to change format so they apply t...

Android games are inferior to PS3 and Xbox gaes

To me, graphics sound and gameplay are all factors that determine how good games are, but overall it's about the experience you get from playing the game, and that's why i think The Walking Dead has gotten the praise. No, it doesn't give you much choice, but it's a hell of a ride.

I also think Zelda is pretty cool guy, eh.

I think Link had a perfect personality in The Wind Waker. The way he was able to emote whether it was through his eyes, making faces, or even his many grunts he just felt alive, and interactive with the other characters. There was a certain drive about his character that defined him, like how he struggles to get his sister back. I remember early in the game when she gets taken by the big bird, and he dumbfoundedly makes a leap of faith over a cliff, almost falling to his death, but it showed ...

That whole thing is just a matter of interpretation, but it is actually there in between the lines of Majora's Mask. There has always been alot of speculation about why link doesn't finish what he set out to do "find his friend" aka his fairy Navi. The game ends in the same scenario where it began, and leaves with an open ending leaving the player to wonder if Link will find Navi and/or what it would mean (to him)

Therein is the whole blabber of link's p...

It's good someone likes it but DS3 got around 7.8 by many other reviewers, including Gametrailers, IGN and Gamespot. I'm not buying it, but i will get Sly Cooper for sure!

I kind of hope that they're trying to heel in on Sony and MS at some point by releasing a new console halfway into the next generation, instead of by the end like with the Wii U.

Of course it will feel like a Dead Space game, but a different kind of Dead Space game to say the least.

I'm sure it's the same as comparing Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3, when you compare this game to its predecessors.

It even has the exact same evolvement of the combat as the Mass Effect franchise, because as opposed to just walking and gunning - clumsily but fit for a horror game - you can now do combat rolls in all directions and upgrade your wea...

Maybe by 240fps he's referring to some sort of 200Hz tv enhancement. When my friend's little bro plays Red Dead on his 100Hz tv it tries to boost the framerate. It looks annoying, but potentially the next consoles could have a feature to work with those kinds of tv's so it seems less artificial.

Nah, LBP 2 was like LBP1.2 and LBP would just be like LBP1.3 unless it's for THE PS4.

So far it's not interesting for people who already own an Xbox or PS3. There are no "amazing" games for it right now, and it's very expensive.

In music, whenever an artist say they want to go back to their roots, it usually ends up becoming superfcial and in gaming, i have seen a similar pattern.

Nintendo made Twilight Princess to be the spiritual sequel to OoT, in an attempt to go back to the roots, and with Mass Effect 3, Bioware promised the RPG elements to be more like ME1.

In both cases it didn't live up to expectations. Overall Twilight Princess wasn't as good as a whole, and ME3 felt ...

Factors that make the franchise unattractive to a western audience:

1. The Artstyle
2. THE NAME (Monster Hunter probably sounds cool to a japanese guy, but here we are decieved by the name to think it might be a generic if not bad title.

I love the franchise and i can't wait to get it for my 3DS, but it feels really japanese, and it does turn some types of people off.

I'm just playing it on my good ol' Gamecube for the first time in my life right now, and i can definitely see why people love this game. It was really good for its time, but it's one of those franchises where i fear it would fall through if a sequel came out today, unless the SK really changes things up.

I still can't get over the fact that it says "Nintendo Presents" in the intro cutscene. It's so surreal, but i wish we saw it more often with da...

And the whole "tablet" selling point doesn't really impress the major audience, to the same extent that the Wii did with motion controls.
After Wii, all sorts of devices and other gaming hardware did the same thing.
Wii U takes something that was already popular and applies it to gaming, so it's not as innovative in that regard.

The main thing the Wii U can do that other consoles or tablets can't in the same style is assymetric gameplay, ...

If that's what they're planning with the Vigil Employees then no. If Nintendo becomes the publisher of the future Darksiders games, then i fear a lot of great ideas and designs from Zelda will carry over, and there's just gonna be controversy around Darksiders copying zelda or something. Face it: If Crytek isn't planning on continuing the franchise, it's dead already.
