Interesting, but i never liked their FPS titles for DS. They had potential but were poorly executed in my opinion.
Good riddance EA.
Ugh... anybody who've played either Crysis or Mass Effect would know what EA does to such franchises. Good games, but insultingly commercialised.
Just shut the f*ck up already! xD
Yeah well it didn't look like that massive leap over the current gen graphics, like when they announced the PS3, and when you compared that to the PS2 graphics, but i'm just friggin stoked to see how large and detailed open world games can be now!
Yes this, but also the fact that many long-time gamers can sort of see through the Wii U being basically a Wii 2. Even though many bought the Wii, i think alot of those who bought it were still very dissapointed by the fact that it was so far behind techniacally.
People who already own a PS3 or an Xbox 360 simply don't feel like buying a Wii U, but of course they will if it has the games that make it a better deal.
I just don't see how Nintendo is gon...
Yeah it's in-engine, but when Suckerpunch states that this is actual gameplay they're just saying it because it's pr, and it generates hype for the game. It's a damn lie. It's no more gameplay than the Killzone 2 demo was for PS3 at its unveiling in 2005.
Believe me there are a lot of genuine reasons why fans dislike the endings. They are very inconsistent to the rest of the game for one, and they were specifically promised to be completely different.
And there are many things prior to the ending that turned some people off, like how combat-focused the game had become compared to ME1 and ME2.
I say, for ME4 Bioware should not do all that unnecessary PR stuff, where they promise you that you're gonna have t...
Yeah, because it's not just the ending that sucked, but the whole game instead, because it's full of nearfed mechanics, like autodialogue and fetch quests. In some ways it feels like Mass Effect 2 was just a more clever game.
I hope it still has a QWERTY keyboard instead of that shitty ABC typing that's in the current PSN store!
MILK!
Wait, is this actually a positive Wii U article!? My mind is blown! I didn't realize that this could even happen!
Oh how i hope the next generation would just stay at this principle of having games run at 60fps, but of course they are gonna try and push the boundaries, as soon as they reach some kind of limitation. I just love playing games smoothly more than i like playing games that look prettier, in most cases.
Killzone 3 did indeed look very similar, however that backdrop had some incredible detail and draw distance! Also did any of you guys see Deep Down? That looked like current gen FMV stuff, and though it didn't seem to be ingame, it was DEFINITELY in engine running on the PS4 in real time!
Killzone is pretty meh. This one didn't impress me so much either. The backdrops looked insanely stunning, but the rest looked like a more colorful version of KZ3, and nothing more imo. I'm way more excited to see if we'll have some new form of gameplay take center stage in the next generation.
The Witness, for example was like an open door to something truly innovative for gaming. It's good to carry all the tropes and popular genres from this gen over to the ...
The more the better, but when the dev says it's 1080p at 60Hz on PS3, then i'm definitely gonna play it like that over 720 30fps on Wii U, with toned down draw distance or something.
It's still relieving to see that devs are still looking at Wii U, even if they've started developing Next gen games.
What's up with the Wii U sales? Has something happened, or did more just suddently catch wind of it?
This demo didn't impress the same way the Killzone 2 demo did in 2005. This demo is probably the equivalent of some of the less great-looking demos from the PS3 reveal. Hopefully :)
A 1080p video doesn't even do this footage justice! It's a little pixelated so even if it looks amazing right now, i know my heads gonna fly off when i actually see it running real time on my own PS4 on my HDTV!
PS4 is probably more developer friendly, but i don't see why they won't make it for Wii U, because the GamePad seems perfect for it.
