Judging by the UE4 demonstration, i think it'll be less than 60
And mostly horrid controls.
I hope Bioware will make some sort of new animated interactive face technology for their titles. Playing Mass Effect or Dragon Age with facescan or mo-cap characters would kind of suck IMO.
My worst fear has been resolved, thank god! Hopefully this gen will mean that we'll see the ending of overly long load times!
Good. But i'm still not convinced that i'll want to play this for the same reasons i want to play Skyrim.
The Wii U will always be in this state unless Nintendo just gets it together and start announcing some games that we actually want to play! Were not vowed by anything coming for it yet. We want that new Zelda game that has an epic open world with awesome swordplay and innovative puzzles! We need that crap, now!
This might be for the better, but it's kinda hard as a fan to let go of the old voice. It feels like it's just a part of Snake's identity by now :/
I think it's going to refer to both. And bringing back characters from 2 doesn't mean DA3's going to be worse than DA:O because the writers can still turn it around and add more depth to characters who lacked development or personality.
SirBradders: My concern is that Bioware said ME3 was going to be a good mix of the elements present in ME1 and 2, but in the end it was only superficial, and ME3 still didn't feel as RPG. The biggest reason is that while they added more customization for guns, they nerfed the dialogue system because your character would only have 2 dialogue choices at a time, while half of his dialogue was automatic.
Essentially, some scenes in Mass Effect 3 played out as cutscenes instea...
Plus the new one is made by the manufacturer of the graphics card that displays the visuals, while the old one is made by a game developer.
I'm sold on the concept and the idea behind the gameplay of this game, but we have yet to see if the Mission structures will be varied enough to make you want to play it through, and we also don't know a lot about the narrative. This game has a lot of hype and i hope it can live up to it.
It's just boring. The world feels completely empty, and the enemies don't move.
I tried the PS3 beta. The framerate is unacceptable and i can't take the story, because the characters seem ripped off of Avatar... and that movie was boring.
The game doesn't really have any charm and the shooting is just barely above average. It also felt like enemies didn't have an AI. They are just standing, doing nothing.
If it is First Person, then it's only gonna work if it's co-op. I'd actually love a game that has a co-op campaign with dialogue choices. In fact Mass Effect and other games alike are the sort of games that i like watching other people playing, because it's entertaining to see what choices they make.
I'm kind of tired of hearing talks about video games getting movie adaptions. While it would be awesome to see The Witcher as a movie, i'm just one of those who feel the game is Cinematic enough, and a movie just wouldn't feel right after having experienced the way the game's story changes depending on your choices.
If someone wants to make The Witcher a movie, then go ahead. I will watch it, but i think it's kind of unnecessary.
I can agree with that. Bioware's future titles are in massive need of neutral dialogue options!
Half-Life 2 was cross-gen back in the time, as well.
I don't care so much about the Ending of ME3 anymore, but i can't forgive Bioware for changing the nature of the franchise so much. Autodialogue ruins the thing that made Mass Effect such a joy to play. I think the Dialogue Wheel is alright for DA2, but they should make it even more RPG and open-world, and choices should matter even more.
DA3 is going to have gay romances, but they need to tone it down so that the gay characters don't automatically starts flirting with you. I hated Anders and i told Fenris to get the hell out when i realised he was gay. It's the same issue with Cortez in ME3. It's okay to be inclusive, but please understand that not everyone wants gay people to shove their sexuality in your face, even if you consider homosexuality to be okay.
I think Iwata fails to recognize what made Nintendo great. The idea behind the Wii was based on their intuition, but with the Wii U their premise was "We NEED to innovate again" which i think seemed like a rushed way to make a new console. I think Iwata has been focusing on the wrong things in the past couple of years. You can also see it having an impact on the way Nintendo of America presents new things at conferences and so on. They don't have anything interesting, because it...
