This has got to be the dumbest debate i've ever heard. Why must that old scumbag use historical or biblical references to every argument he makes? He's fucking delusional.
If Nintendo starts only following what wallets say, we might as well never see the next Metroid Prime for example, because Retro's Donkey Kong games have better sales.
bullymangLer: What? How is the most generic Mario game next to the crapload of NSMB games less generic than one of the finest and most polished video game creations to this date? I'm a huge Nintendo fan, I'm playing Animal Crossing right now, I have a Gamecube, I have a Wii and i support them, but saying the Last of Us is uncreative is an insult to the people who put their time and thoughts into it.
It's one of the best games i've ever played, maybe not top 5 ...
But the game doesn't rely on "dumb violence" however. It really goes hand in hand with the story unlike in games like Uncharted.
I guess maybe his point is that instead of having the theme of "murder" and "killing" it would be nice to have more games that avoided those things. You can still have a great action game with a good story where nobody kills each other, potentially.
Never, if it means they should stop making Zelda and Mario. There's plenty of new in every Zelda /Mario game so far, and the fact that there is always 5 years inbetween every major Zelda title shows that they aren't just milking it like people do with other franchises like Sonic and CoD.
So the Wind Waker's lovely artstyle is now FORCED? The most forced art-style i've seen in Zelda games are that of Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, where Nintendo bended over to fan demand instead of doing what they really wanted themselves.
The more Zelda is a product Nintendo WANTS to work with the more they like doing it, and the more passion they will put into the games. So if i had any tip for them then it would be to forget everything about their fanbase for a while, ...
I just want to see them make something that feels fresh, whether it's a new Zelda or a new Mario or even a new franchise. Every Zelda game essentially feels new because almost every Zelda game has a different art-style. I just hope they don't start appealing too much to nostalgia, because until Skyward Sword it seemed like their goal was to "make something better than Ocarina of Time" whereas that would never work, because Ocarina of Time was developed with a different goal ...
Let him think he's big. I couldn't care less about whatever creates next if it isn't far from Gears of War, because that franchise has me tired out.
Japanese people don't give a crap about the WestBox One
Sorry but that really sounded like a parody of the things no one wants to do.
I would love to have another big-screen Zelda with the Wind Waker artstyle, or at least one for 3DS in full 3D like the OoT remake.
Wind Waker is one of the best Zelda games out there. I think it's pretty short though, but the atmosphere just feels way more like a proper Zelda game than Skyward Sword for instance. I also felt that Wind Waker had a better story than Twilight Princess because the ending in TP is bad imo.
No because Animal Crossing is a better game. 39/40 :3
That's obviously not going to happen. You can go to Bioware's Social Forums on their site, but beware. Lots of retrollers and hating. In general it's dominated by negativity because of dissapointed fans.
Well they said they were almost going to show Zelda at their E3 direct, hint, hint ;)
After the ending i feel like i need more closure, but honestly i'd rather they leave Joel and Ellie's chapter where it ended rather than making up new contrived plots for 2 new games. That's disrespect to their own franchise imo.
I don't trust them. they said they did the same with MK7. It was still friggin annoying. What they need to fix is giving us manual drifting back again. It takes so much of the skill away when the drifting is based on how long you hold it.
Yeah. I kinda wanted more closure, but when i thought about it, it makes sense for ND to close the book when they did.
We can hope MS realises it's bad and completely remove it like EA removed online passes.
Yeah it's better if all the hacking stuff just happens in secret, because it will get to the system eventually and bypass whatever blockades Nintendo's been making, and the more that know about it the more piracy will influence the system. It's inevitable but annoying. (Still totally getting one heheheeehhh!)
