The first Ace Attorney started out by showing a bleedout from a blunt force trauma to a victim's head and it was animated... that game was rated T for teen.
Yup, i heard it too.
I heard Ali Hillis.... I'm outta here. I've become so tired of her voice.
Mine would probably have to be that the change from season to season didn't have a good flow. Summer is basically over 50% of the game and then fall and winter is just slapped on top of it. Another one is that Winter felt like a filler episode.
Not to mention all the awesome stuff we alreadt got. I just checked last day, and i've already got 40 hours of Animal Crossing and 30 hours of Monster Hunter 3U, and i got those, just weeks ago!
So basically. I've had 999 for years now, but i've never played it, mainly because the art style doesn't look all that appealing. Somebody, convince me why this game is better than other games alike, such as Hotel Dusk or Ace Attorney.
I think it's frustrating to see how Nintendo keeps holding on to this idea. It's partially true what Miyamoto says, I'll give him that, but I really think Nintendo would've fared better right now had they introduced us to a new concept with new characters. I never actually liked Mario games because of the characters, that's true, but in a franchise like Zelda, I really think Characters are half of the experience.
Can't happen soon enough!
I respect Iwata, and i think his strategies are sound, but the whole "to avoid other companies copying our stuff" is him being pretty querulous IMO.
It's a great sequel, and it's good to be "back home", but outright calling it "beautiful achievement"... i don't really agree. It's more of the same plus a lot of new, and that's great, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
With most games i know where devs have listened a lot to fans' feedback their said franchise lost substance, it lost originality, and just charm to be honest. I don't think Nintendo should make more games of the same franchise based on what sales numbers say, like they are doing now, but i don't think making content based on what the fan demand says is the key either. It's not gonna last if it isn't something Nintendo is intuitively creating from their own hearts and minds...
If that's true then i'm going crazy!
I would argue that Disney film contain themes that are not only targeted towards kids. There are layers to movies like Wall-E and even Toy Story that kids don't understand.
I would love to have an Ouya if it meant being able to play everything up to N64 games perfectly, as the oldest console i have myself is a Gamecube, but that isn't currently the case. The SNES emulators have significant input lag on the Ouya and there aren't any emulators that emulate all games perfectly for N64.
By "build bigger worlds" i think most devs are referring to the fact that you could make a game like The Last of Us and have several maps be part of one big map, so it doesn't have to load in between areas. Same goes for MGS.
...and just like that... the magic was gone.
One of the most appealing things about Smash Bros is how it's a complete package, and you have to play it for hours upon hours to unlock everything, and a lot of the unlockables catch you off guard and surprise you. DLC takes so much of that discovery away if it's used conventionally.
Please no. He was annoying in SSBB
Mr. Sakurai is still in a lot of "KoRn"
Finally a good view of the english version demo. I can't wait to see one where you can actually hear the game's sound though.
Conker is funny, but not always when it wanted to be it. My pick would be Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney. So many funny and unexpected remarks from the lead characters and it never felt forced! Anyone should pick that game up if they want a solid story with a great sense of humor.
