Another unintelligent article. Huh? I thought i had turned on the quality filter.
If i really want to get something i often end up slightly dissapointed, and sometimes you get surprised when you try something you never considered until it spontaniously happens. I think i'll give Xbox One a chance, and i think it's going to be a lot better than most think, but that said, i'm still leaning more towards PS4. I just think the PS4 and X1 are gonna be more alongside each other in the console race than we currently predict.
I'm gonna get the best 32" gaming tv out there that has a max output of 1080p because i want PS4 games to look perfect on it before 4K replaces everything.
Cool :)
I agree except my pals bought Mass Effect 3 and hated the ending, but they couldn't install the extended cut because the game was regioncoded for England so they needed to have acces to an english PSN store account to get a working DLC.
CoD is going to be jaw-dropping for some when you see it running 60fps in 1080p, which is probably why it looks so dated from the trailers that run at 30fps.
Killzone Shadowfall looks spectacular but it's 30fps and there were noticable framerate lags in the demo in certain areas.
By the end of the coming generation i'm sure developers have gotten used to both the Xbox One and PS4 and games will look even better.
Many think Bioshock infinite is "tha bast game avar" solely because of it's story. If you think about it, the gameplay is very repetetive, the sense of exploration stalls after the intro and the shooting feels fucking generic. I think it's more of an "not my taste" thing for me, but i seriously didn't have a good impression of it after beating it. It was a fucking chore to get through.
Virus201: Mass Effect 3 was such a let down throughout most of it compared to Mass Effect 2. I don't care for set piece moments. They are distracting the viewers from any real depth or substance. The introduction to the game is terrible, the autodialogue ruined my experience and everything that had to do with Cerberus was very poorly written.
Most dissapointing sequel i ever played.
Most dissapointing*
Kinda looks like a Metal gear 4.6 to me. It looks great, because Metal Gear 4 still looks amazing, but it's not the big leap that other franchises have gone through, taking it from these pictures at least.
I think the whole TV thing was to be expected when you see it as a part of the whole "one box with entertainment for the whole living room" thing they've been talking about since they launched Kinect, but 30 mins into the conference i'll admit i was sitting thinking "is this even a gaming console?"
Bubble up to you for being helpful mate :B
Actually i was merely talking from my point of view and my own experience with pc ports i've played over the last couple of years. Don't say i don't know anything about the pc game industry because my previous comment doesn't illustrate what i know or don't know at all. It's my opinion.
I know what the whole "console games holding back pc gaming" is about and i agree. I'm saying one reason why I THINK console gaming might hold back pc gam...
I don't "approve" of sexualised or suggestive poses with manga characters because i think it seems like a cheap way to lure people to a product, but Nintendo of Europe has actually avoided my purchase of this game because of all the censoring. I saw a jpg on reddit that showed how one of the dialogues had been re-written because it suggested one had big breasts and "curves" in the US translation. In the EU they changed it so the person complimented the woman's hair...
Nope. It's number three and that's a fact.
I totally agree with many of the latest Kotaku/IGN articles about Xbox One and that it's not what gamers have been wanting, but i also agree with this statement from MS. Video game journalists are often biased, or at least if you look sites like IGN and Gamespot. One of IGN's journalists Audrey Drake handles most of their Nintendo stuff, and usually when someone is excited about something Nintendo announce it's her, and i just don't really like how it seems that they have one ...
I know this might be saying more about the developer than the console's capbilities, but a lot of times when i see PS4 screens, i've noticed that the actual poly count and the texture work isn't really a huge deal over the best PS3 games. There is definitely something that PS3 could never handle when it comes to particles and atmosphere in these screenshots, but the actual polygons and that just doesn't really impress me.
I'm not all up and in tears about the reveal, as they did exactly what i feared they would do. It was predictable, but i think we'll still be surprised at their E3 lineup, or at least when we see EA's conference.
If consoles didn't exist i'm not even sure we'd see many AAA games. People on pc are cheating and pirating because it's possible and while there are still fairly good sales for pc, much fewer have the money to afford a hardcore gaming rig, and therefore i consider every console to be an important step in the evolution of what's possible with a video game. Therefore i think every console should be about moving video gaming forward, and not moving away from video games as it...
Oh how i loved the PS2 days. Back then consumers had to deal with what was in the final product, and developers couldn't half-ass it only to fix it later through patches, but the good thing was that we didn't need to concern ourselves with keeping the games up to date so we could actually just play it when we want to.
