Nah. Still not next-gen defining imo. It looks like an 1080p version of a good-looking ps3 game from these shots. The draw distance isn't even impressive.
Sometimes I wish some companies would just make new games with PS2-like graphics in HD as an admission that they don't got what it takes to make a big blockbuster title, but that the game would actually be amazing still and it would sell well.
That's just a utopia never to be realised :P
The only camera issue i really have is the annoying panning to the left/right when you climb ladders. I want control over the camera, I even move it as I drive most of the time to check corners in time.
I don't know about the whole "Technical achievement" thing. It does look pretty, like an uncharted-meets-gta kind-of-way but the overall feel of the graphics isn't as good as in GTA IV imo. GTA IV wasn't very colorful but I felt there was a certain 'fullness' to the graphics that GTA V doesn't have.
I don't believe anything of heart or engaging is gonna come out of a decision that's been pressured by fan-demand. The reason the original Metroid Prime was so amazing is because it was an intuitive idea.
Not that I wouldn't like this, but I don't want it to be half-hearted.
I can't believe the Japanese society is letting public shows and gaming commit to even further desensitizing. Ecchi anime is booming in popularity. What will the next thing be? Porn animes becoming the mainstream hit?
Hey, I didn't say I would object to that ;)
Fun fact: Molyneux loves bullshit.
Here's a good tip Molyneux. Make a good game for once and you can get good sales too. Don't be butthurt and stop claiming authority ffs. You shouldn't even be relevant.
It looks like a full-length DLC rather than a sequel. They're just milking it.
The only good sonic character are sonic and tales and eggman. All the others make the franchise feel bloated.
Yeah, that is the official statement, but I think Shu consider himself to have moved on from making Ace Attorney now. Whatever his next project is, I wouldn't count on it being an Ace Attorney game but it would be great to see him return at some point however.
But if you didn't have issues with the story in Investigations you're gonna like DD a lot since it has the POV and courtroom segments, all that stuff.
Omg. They suck at making names and it's even more laughable this time? What is it with Japanese people and their hipster-use of the english language?
Unfortunately the writing staff and in general the team who made Investigations are the ones behind this game as well, unlike Shu Takumi who was the series original creator who left Ace Attorney after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.
Don't fret. This will be better than Investigations, garuanteed, but you're bound to feel a little deja vu when you play it. (I know because it's been out since july in Japan)
I hope it's Shu Takumi's next project if he's even with them anymore.
Uncharted 4 confirmed :P
Prequel or Sequel... just don't refer that ending and don't make it about Cerberus again.
I've heard they're looking for a new lead-writer for this game though, so it has the potential to be leaps and bounds better than any of the shit Mac Walters could create. He's a terrible writer in a medium full of them. ME3's story was your typical Michael Bay flip when it could've gone so much deeper than that. They tried to make it so in the ending, but the...
I really want this as well. I hope it's not too similar to ME3.
Why does so few realise that ME2 is vastly different than ME3 in terms of combat and action-structure. ME3 was one big rollercoaster and there was barely any exploration in the combat sections. In ME2 we had more chances to sit back and breathe for a minute, maybe get some more story or so before we got to a new section with waves of enemies.
In ME3, it was just, if you were lucky, a little breather here and there, but when there was combat it was just wave and wave after wav...
No. ME3 had three major problems: The story was too big in scope for my taste, way too long action sequences, way too long dialogue sections with no player-input.
EA likes giving people the middle-finger.
