I like the new one much better... though maybe not so much his maniac stare.
I follow the same line of thought. Demise was a terrible way to top off Ghirahim who was awesome. Demise had too little screentime and was too bland for me to like him as a villain. "Ooh, I'm evil" is what he came out to say and then you beat him and get a mediocre conclusion to an otherwise fantastic game.
AWESOMEEEEE! It's early 2014 in europe actually. It only said that in the European trailer :P
WARNING: Written by Mac Walters.
This is why Nintendo must never die. In the end their games are amazing no matter how dull they can seem sometimes. DKCR:TF is probably gonna be so good people are gonna appreciate Retro did it.
It sounds good... but I still feel like the series is losing my interest because of all the newer, uninteresting characters that just aren't as original or charming as Maya and Gumshoe. It still sounds like the new prosecutor is pretty nice though.
The biggest problem is that I never understood why they needed to bring in a new cast and put Phoenix in the background. He had development for 3 games sure, but PLvsAA for example, showed there is still plenty of potential for...
Casey getting all the hate while the real culprit was Mac Walters, that hack of a writer. He could've just fleshed out the ideas Casey Hudson had better.
And who the heck would've thought this would happen anyway? None of the really hard-pushing titles have been running more than 720p, in fact GTA IV which is bound to look uglier than this ran in 640p on PS3 or something like that.
In Japan :P
Ace Attorney is doing good and that's relieving to hear, but I jope it will sell better than usual when it comes to the west... Nothings reassured though.
It's still so much better when it's handheld imo.
Monster Hunter is my top pick. I've squeezed 72 hours out of it during the time I've had it, and I've only scratched the surface!
I object! He should be the final boss in classic mode if you beat it in less than 18 minutes with no continues!
Sad thing about most of the well-known Indie devs is that they're such morons and they constantly rank down on other games that are different from their own Ideas. They're a bunch of hipsters just like Marcus Beer says. And if ANYONE should stop being media leeches it's those two, Blow and Fish especially. Blow is a genius but he's a friggin Media whore. I'm looking at you too Indie Game The Movie!
It's gonna feel so empty when the only thing you can get from urns and plants are rupees and magic.
I'm starting to think Ace Attorney will surpass my expectations, since there are some pretty good games here, but none got higher than 35/40
Lucas and Spielberg are old and they should be the last to define gaming. Spielberg, we haven't forgotten about E.T. and Lucas... you've been ruining your own movies since you made Han Solo dodge the shot.
It wasn't bad at all. It just felt like a spin-off.
To be honest, i'm not nostalgic as I didn't play ALttP back in the day, and actually I don't think this game looks very pretty. The graphics style don't appeal to me... but it'll definitely be a great game still. I just wished it would've been a full 3D zelda we got instead.
The quality in the video is also strange. I personally think this game will look amazing on the 3DS screen. They sacrificed some polygons in environmental detail to make areas more vertical and there are more visual effects than in MH3U. To me this looks just right.
