It uses the exact same engine with a lot of tweaks but the core mechanics like running and sprinting are ripped straight outta DS2
I believe the demo builds were also sort of in easy mode
One does not simply compare Shadow of Mordor to Bloodborne - a Souls game. They are nothing alike and Bloodborne is not about its fancy graphics as much as it is about its fair but merciless game play.
Just reached level 20 and I have to agree. While it is true, I still think Destiny will stay as my go-to game when it comes to online-matchmaking until something better arrives on PS4. It's still worth playing IMO and likely it will get better with time. My biggest gripe was how sterile it felt story-wise and just how unnecessary the story was.
I wouldn't say "Lack of deep story" because I don't think anyone who read into what this game was gonna be ever expected it to have a deep and engaging storyline. I think what fails about it though is that it tries to have a story but it's just way too banal and there's no characterization to even a big character like Ghost. I didn't expect it to have likable characters but it definitely seemed like that's what it was going for so it's really puzzling how...
Isn't that almost the same?
But it's still free-to-play right? then I'm not really interested :-/
Give me a break FFS! Enough of this "Strong female lead character" BS. It's in every game at this point. The only principle there's left to it is to stay in touch with the current trends. It's so pretentious.
Of course unless XB1 version has some frame-rate issues which I wouldn't know of, because from what I've seen both versions are stable 30fps. I don't recall seeing a single FPS drop on PS4 unless I was in the middle of some exploding stuff. It feels super polished and is one of the best most next-gen releases so far even though it's actually cross-gen.
Yeah, PS4 version is definitely sharper even though both are actually 1080p this time, but the stuff with color is irrelevant. XB1 has that awful darkening filter or whatever it was called and it seems to me like that XB1 is running without Full RGB range because colors are dampened.
The tech is pretty great, don't get me wrong, but I still think the game was unimpressive because the world doesn't feel alive and some actions lock the character into playing out their animations, removing camera control or general sense of control for a few seconds and that made the game feel inferior to a lot of last-gen titles to me.
MGS5 or Ground Zeroes on the other hand felt really next gen to me (which is lol cuz it's cross-gen) because they really amped u...
I'm danish and this makes me cringe. The worst thing about this is how Sony is proactively hyping up a fanboy war, and I hate that because fanboys suck.
I'm a proud owner of a PS4 but I don't really see the need to say "XBOX sucks!" I want both consoles to be good even if I have to miss out on great XBOX exclusives like Halo and stuff like that.
There aren't any must-own exclusives coming to XBOX One as of right now in my book, but l...
I would rather like a comparison between vanilla PC and vanilla PS4 because I'm sure PS4 does not have proper texture filter distance and it lacks some lighting effects found on the PC version.
This video, however, is just dishonest and stupid.
I'm up for anything as long as it isn't Beyond 2. I really didn't like Beyond Two Souls because of its stupid story and boring protagonist.
No shit. Next gen they will be talking about how Zelda Next was only possible with the new outdated hardware of that gen.
I guess what I'm saying is that, if Wii U was the Wii Skyward Sword had probably been much more impressive, and this game would've been too if they didn't undercut their potential with limited hardware.
2Deep4Me
Meh. That's been their goal since Wii U launched and aside from MK8 I felt like there was too much catering to what fans had been craving for over MiiVerse or online boards. I hate developers who just do wish-fulfillment for their fans instead of being passionate about making what THEY want.
Yes let's generalize. Every AAA game is like the ones Ubisoft likes to make. No.
AAA just means a game has high budget and is in most cases being published by one of them corporate bigwig companies.
The game developer is the one who is to blame still, if a game is bloated. There are plenty of AAA games out there that don't try to be everything at once. The Last of Us, Halo, Arkham (Asylum)
...which means it will not reach PS4 performances for multi-plat titles.
Yes, the summoning pits for killing Xyor is part of a bounty, but the others that don't just read "EXPANSION X" are probably things that will be patched in without requiring you to buy a DLC and perhaps one of the raids take place in the secret area people found to be on-disc, and won't be DLC either.
Chances are also that DLCs will actually unlock new planets because in the game's current form the layout for the director is restricted to the four main a...
