if they get medium I will be VERY surprised. This chugs at around 15-20 on mine at 800x600 on low while I can get 30FPS with some settings on very high (DX10) on Crysis at720p. I don't know if its auto-launching DX11 for some reason but this game is a real resource hog. Blows Crysis' hunger away
Crytek need to worry about CryEngine 2 and 3. Don't get me wrong they look fantastic, But considering both are integral PC FPS games you would expect the engines to have been more stable.
Its rather sad that the amount of engines with stability problems has increased so drastically actually in one gen of consoles. I can't speak for too many PC games of old, but from what I remember, if you were getting 60FPS, you didn't drop to 15-20 just because of the game

Yeah if you farm the the pre-boss section of 4-1 you can get yourself the much needed head start, go tear through some worlds, then come back and farm through 4-4 (maybe 4-3, been a while) that should pretty much carry you through the game aside from a couple of optional bosses. The game actually becomes incredibly easy once you learn all you have to do is play it like zelda but a bit more cautious around ledges and groups.
Also firestorm more or less breaks the game
Although I agreed, I personally wouldn't call it a terrible game. It had some very serious flaws yes, and even a rather problematic (though easily fixable) game breaker. I personally thought the game was only a few codes from being fantastic.
1.No respawning guard camps
2.Wear and tear on cars/boats and guns reduced.

Nope Far Cry is actually going back to its roots in a sense whereas Crysis made the worst possible departure locale-wise.
Far Cry also garnered a lot more attention and got a better reception at E3 2011 than Crysis 2 did at E3 2010. Even the guy who presented Far Cry 3 (forgot his name) actually played into the lore well himself. The game has this brilliant mysterious feel to it. Just so you both know, Not only is Levine included in the most highly respected currently active devs. But he has no allegience with MS.....And Bioshock 1 was hardly his game on PS3, He done no work at all on the port, hence you got such a bad port. When it comes to new technologies hes no carmack, but this guy does have a much better understanding of the tech than 99% of devs out there today.

Nope, Actually a lot of the 360 games have the code tweaked to make good use of the EDRAM. A lot of 360 games would repeatedly crash and freeze without it, EDRAM is not in your PC. It could probably be emulated but it would be a colossal resource hog.

Its good to see the response for this game has switched so much, I know SE get a lot of bad press now, But if peoples opinions on this game have actually been turned then they must be doing something right
This is nothing but a bad idea, A lot of those games may have features in their PC counterpart that cannot be found in your 360 disc. Put in Just Cause 2, and you certainly wont be getting the SSAO, Bokeh, or CUDA.
If it has to be emulated it will also be a colossal resource hog in comparison to running the actual PC counterpart
I think its a good idea, I like the PS3 browser but my main problem is, I hate that you can't use the browser while running a game, if in the next gen we have ram to spare in the OS dedicated ram, then being able to keep a guide open in the background while playing a game could be possible. I think it would then become a massively popular feature
