Different taste is not necessarily bad taste. At the end of the day, a review is still just another gamer's opinion. The whole state of video game reviews is a little too subjective these days if you ask me though...
The PS3 beats the Wii for TWO weeks out of 52, and suddenly the war is over?? You make no sense. Next year will definitely be Sony's year worldwide, nobody can deny that, but this year was clearly - and is still clearly - the Wii's. And what's with the capitals? You make the rest of us not-crazy Sony fans looks bad.
I'm sorry, but Guitar Hero is just as fruity lol. I don't buy into any of these rhythm based games, but at least Singstar is based on your actual talent as a singer.
The way I see it, games are time contextual, as are reviews. When OoT was released there was nothing on any platform that match it.
The FFXIII games have been my most anticipated titles the PS3 was first unveiled. Stop with the interviews and just work on the games! The wait is hard enough without having to read these little itsy bitsy tid-bits.
A new Zelda would be the ONLY game that could ever make me buy a Wii (assuming the price has dropped $100 or so by then). I just hope they include standard controls as well so I don't have to look like a complete idiot waving my hands around.
SMG is a solid little platformer, but OoT deserves the top spot for it's immersive, expansive environment and varied gameplay. Nothing else comes close.

White Knight Story next month should be huge.
I'm just as proud of a PS3 owner as the next guy, but I honestly doubt that's true. The only things I have read are that it is "exclusive this year", which is wide open for interpretation. Like Capcom, F.R. is probably obligated by contracts to maintain a silence about multiplatform development.
Ok... this has been popping up incessantly over the last few days. It is hardly a poll of what people prefer, and is inconclusive to ANYTHING regarding the format war or console preference. Blu-ray and HD-DVD supporters obviously already have their corresponding player of choice, so they're not gunna vote for the chance to buy another one. Same can be said for PS3, 360, and Wii. It is predominantly non-gamers who visit Amazon anyways, so it should be expected that the Wii is winning.
It is called timed exclusivity. 360 version is on the back burner while Free Radical focuses on the PS3, but that doesn't mean the project is completely scrapped.
Whether it sells a million copies or ten million doesn't matter to me. I own the game, and it is phenomenal. As far as I'm concerned, that's good enough.
If you're talking about RPGs, I believe you mean Level-5.

I think the SMG are right in line with expectations. So far, all the 'good' games for the Wii have sold abysmally when taking into account the installed base. Just goes to show who is actually playing the Wii.

The DS on it's own beats all 3 of Sony's machines... that's sad lol. Still don't see how the DS sells such ginormous numbers.
It was a fun demo for sure, but personally I'm having too good a time with Ratchet to worry about this one right now.

It's things like this that are responsible for the lack of respect the gaming industry gets. Even the people within it don't take themselves seriously.
Why can't great contests like this be open to Canadians! All a new user would have to do is pick up Resistance and they would have one of the most solid foundation-libraries ever. 7 first rate titles in a year is very positive... I just wish I had enough money to afford them all.
