While I think WiiFit as a whole is a load of BS and people would be much better putting their money towards something that will give them real results, this guy should have known better by just looking at himself in the mirror. What the heck was he expecting to do with this little flimsy board. Go outside! Don't buy WiiFit. Come on man. No wonder there's so many obese people in the world. "I'm gunna lose all this weight by playing video games." Yeah ok.
Who in their right mind wants more Dark Watch?
If you want to get in shape then put the $100 towards a gym membership, and forget about this stupid thing.
I like how the article specifically refers to the PS3/360 as the only next gen systems :D lol.
No matter which way you slice it, the Wii can only output 480p, so on an HDTV there will never be a Wii game comparable to PS360 visuals.
If you only have one console, you buy the game for that console and be happy.
Personally, if I had the choice though, I could never opt for the Wii version over the other two, because I personally can't stand the controller/motion-controls, and the terribly poor graphics on an HDTV. Come on now, for kids I understand the whole appeal to "wiggling my wiimote like a lightsaber" but for the rest of us grown-ups... not so much.
If anything, VGChartz saying PS3 sold 26,000 more means it was really more like 50,000+. NPD always seems to prove that they overtrack the 360 and undertrack the PS3.
And then there are the 400,000 grandmas who bought the Wii.
Can't wait to see worldwide numbers.
Looks like PSP/PS3 both scored above the Wii/DS. And they don't care about graphics? Hmmm, did you even read the article?
"The biggest factor polled Dengeki readers would take into account was "improved graphics.""
:P
PS2>PS3>360
PS2 is still a hell of a system, so no complaints there.
If the 360 and PS3 were that close with VG's numbers, than the real NPD numbers should reveal a decisive PS3 victory for the month.
Easily the most attractive limited edition console ever released. Retains the high class factor of the PS3, while still representing MGS.
better not throw your 360 dude. if you touch it it may break.
Plus on top of that GT5:P number, you have the unknown number of downloads. Probably an extra 60,000-100,000 by now. Wish Sony would publish those numbers.
Very solid year ahead for PS3 fans. In terms of exclusives, September sees KZ2, LBP, and SOCOM. All three should be huge.
I wonder if Heavy Rain will hit this year...
Amen brother ^_^
Nice, I've been waiting for it to hit the GH library. I'll have to replay it with the HD mode on. The ending is such a cliffhanger, makes the wait for GoW3 even more unbearable!
It may not be a huge deal to the male audience, but this will probably be the biggest blu-ray seller of the year.
I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not even buying the game, so I'm not too concerned.
Gran Turismo 5? Really???
*Shakes head in pity at the poor fool who wrote this*
Cleverest idea ever? Going from "free to play" games online to "pay to play" is their best move? If that's true, I feel sorry for Nintendo. I think they're getting confused as to who their audience is. Little kids and their moms don't want to have to pay extra.
LOL I had a good laugh at those comments too. All those people buying a Wii know that they're not going to be getting any serious games from the big publishers, and yet they complain like crazy. It's not like Ubisoft doesn't want to reach as wide an audience as possible, the little Wii just can't handle the games.
