If you've been keeping up with interviews, you'll know that load times virtually do not exist thanks to caching on the hard drive. Good news for all :)
The way I'm reading it is the games will be available EVENTUALLY on Blu-ray.
I agree. Like the Final Fantasy series, I think the direct numbered-sequels will probably be on the PS3, and off-shoots will on other platforms (like FF XII: Revenant Wings and KH: Chain of Memories).
Though, why did SE pull Dragon Quest off the PS2 and move it to the DS? Boooo on them.
Haha, the Mario thing was an April fools joke :P
I'd be carrying a crossbow. Snipe those robbers in the face.
Though this video looks awesome, and looks like it c ould be a final fantasy game, I think KH3 will retain a similar feel to that of it's two predecessors.
This will be my first Ninja Gaiden game, so port or not, I'm really excited for it.
Ok, so this is the first trailer for the PS3 I've actually got a chill while watching. This game looks fantastic. End of story. Insomniac is proving to be one of Sony's heavy hitters. Can't wait.
This is good news for the Ps3. At least when xBox owners try to laugh up the attach rate of the PlayStation it's higher than 1.5 now :). By the end of the year it should be up around 5-7 I'd think.
You're the man ;)
I think Phil is the man. I think he's down to earth, doing a great job trying to sell his companies products. And come on, he's such a joker.
"I'm going to get shot for saying this"
Ohhh Ratchet and Clank. I'm glad they're going back to the franchise's roots. This is definitely one of my most anticipated games for the PS3.
Except I can't yet see the trailer. Bah.
Not to burst your bubble, but the 360 sold 46 units LESS than the week before, which is pretty good considering the drop that most other platforms experienced. Better pay a bit closer attention next time ;) lol.
I'd guess they're basing this on old news.
I'm holding off on my PS3 purchase for the Euro version. Glad it's making it's way here so soon.
Ummm, King Kong was a Universal release, yes, but LotR is a Warner release (New Line is a subsidiary of Warner), and they've been pretty clear about their support for both formats.
I'd rather they play really poorly at E3 and improve over time, than set the bar too high to begin with and then struggle to make it a reality (*cough* Killzone)
I want a toilet like that where you have to pull a string to flush.
The way I'm thinking about Blu-Ray is that I have absolutely no intention to replace my current DVD collection, but any new releases now I'd probably get the BD.
Ohhh a number of big releases this week. All five are good titles.
