The "true" core cround are the only people who know who know what the Wii U is, and have one.
Gamers who put this much precedence in numerical scores are saddening to hear.
I only care about the details, not the numbers. To much bias in the industry right now to do otherwise.
Says the guy who was promoting IGN's review like it was the absolute truth just a moment a ago when I said what amounted to pretty much this...
Its IGN. They give everyhting Nintendo releated low scores. Even the Wonderful 101 got a low score, and that game is great.
Posting that doesn't really change anything. Its expected that IGN will rate it low. I'm sure they'll give Super Mario 3D Land one of the lowest scores it will get. Same with Mario and Sonic at the Olympics 2014.
If its not a gore fest, or doesn't involve shooting or killing with swords, then IGN isn't going to like i...
He didn't say ignore.
The most important thing for any review is the "why" that, not the score.
You skip the multiples of good reviews to zero in on the this one bad review and act surprised that the lowest score(which you singled out) is low?
No trolling at all here folks. This guy is clearly legit.
The nature of the PC is not the same as consoles. That is why they are not categorized as the same thing.
Also, once again, if you are counting the PC a console platform then Nintendo was the first to do it, not Sony.
The point of a console/platform is to provide a stable hardware setup for releases. PC's are variable in make and purpose. Console's are game machines managed by one company while anyone can make a PC. PC's are not the same and shou...
It doesn't matter for the Wii U. They killed any chance of it selling by giving decentralizing its availability and making the Wii U version cost nearly twice as much.
Its going to end up just like Rayman Legends. They increased costs by making more versions, and decreased sells by making the focal version less appealing and releasing it as a inopportune time.
The PC is not a console/platform, and I thought Microsoft had been doing that since the xbox1? Heck, even Nintendo has had some game connectivity to the PC. I believe the Dreamcast did as well.
I know Phantasy Star Online could connect the PC, Gamecube and Dreamcast versions together.
Either way, Sony was not the first.
Also, if you are going to console to console/handheld within the same company, then that Nintendo holds the award for that ...
Huh? There are only 3 game console manutfactures. If Microsoft wasn't allowed it, and Nintedo just started, then how was Sony doing it?
Were they crossplatofrming with a magical console from another dimension?
I bet you would love it. Though its already been stated that its in between.
I thought this was already well known? It supports pretty much all of the most modern graphical features and techniques none to man.
The only way it could get more technically advanced is to use Ray Tracing.
Whoever called the writer of this article a fanboy is a fanboy. Butthurt Sony fanboy. Not calling any names though.
Only to people who see things through pure, tinted Sony vision. There are games ont he PS3 and 360 that look way better than the last of us and were technically doing a lot more.
ZombiU "graphically" outdid the last of us and that was on the Wii U at launch.
It was the first things people attacked the Wii U for not having at launch and the biggest, most recurring means of dismissing it as a next gen console.
Its funny how something suddenly loses its importance when its not in your groups favor anymore.
To be precise, he's Nitnendo's mascot.
It would be like asking Disney to stop using Mickey Mouse(which Mario is more popular than).
Because Nintendo haters don't understand logic.
No matter what the circumstance or problem arises, they will always bash what "they" like the least about Nintendo, and that is over 90% of the time, Nintendo's success.
Every problem that arises with Nintendo, they will attack either
A. Their old(successful) franchises
B. Their preference for more affordable hardware than higher spec hardware.
Bayonetta 2 does in everyway.
There have already been enough games that outperform their PS3/360 counterparts by a large margin to conclude that the Wii U can do all around better than they can, and the Wii U hasn't even been out a year.
How many years did Beyond 2 Souls take to devlop and how experienced were the devs with the system?
Your not seeing any games as is making it pale in comparison is entirely a matter of your own personal b...
So when people start making games that pile 90% of the graphics into the character models(primarily their face), only then will you consider it next gen?
Fanboys have warped perceptions these days.
Really, Beyond 2 Souls did nothing technically high level. It just piled polygons and effects into the characters face. The overall modal complexity isn't that high. Definitely not as high as this. 4505d ago 16 agree13 disagreeView comment
Why Nintendo? They aren't making this?
Also, its looks interesting. I'll probably get it.
