You seem to miss the point of this news like most do. Can't say whether its intentional or not.

This article and ones like it exist as a response to the insistence by haters that the Wii U isn't next gen.

Have been since launch. They'll hold the PS4 and Xboxone back for a while too.

This game is going to be fantastic.

If it has online gamepaly, then I'm buying it 100% guaranteed.

It will be one of my 3 Wii U racing games.
Mario Kart 8
Project C.A.R.S.
Fast Racing League NEO

I'll be set.

Alternative to Wipeout?

Wipeout has no bearing on this games existence and as this is a game on Nintendo hardware, no one is looking for an alternative to a game they care nothing about.

Please stop trying to inseminate Sony related thins into Wii U specific conversations.

Was never debated, yet you can always expect a Sony fanboy to shift the argument to this whenever someone starts showing the Wii U's graphical gains over the last gen.

Funny thing is that people tried to use the Wii U's launch ports as not only representative of the Wii U's power, but as its abosolute limit and a lot of people still do.

Its ironic to hear Sony fanboys trying to play off the lack of gain demonstrated when they were hammering the Wii U for ports not looking that much different than the 360/PS3 ports.

Net gen 8x times stronger than last gen confirmed.

I like the classic controller pro more than the wii u pro controller. So to each his own on that one.

Also, the Wii eshop games are cheaper. Though going by the disagrees, I guess this is one of the articles that its not wise to "not speak negatively" about Nintendo on.

All of those titles are still accessible from the Wii eshop in Wii mode aren't they?

We'll buy it with they price is fairly.

Those Wii U games. Delicious.

Indies are the future!

4557d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

And I would rather those other studios work on something new as well.

4557d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

I hope not. I would rather get a completely new games.

This HD obsession is sickening. Bost games looked great a 480p. They don't need an HD update.

Loaded question. Nintendo hasn't run out of steam. Last I checked, they were still the most profitable console manufacturer on the planet.

3DS is still leading the world in sells and the Wii U's sell are constantly going up.

The classic "nostalgia" insult used to dismiss and downlplay anything people like that has been around for longer than person who states it personally would like.

This is primaily used to write off the popularity as being because of familiarity rather than the product quality.

It is a sad, ignorant claim often made by fanboys of newer consoles and game models who resent the success of older franchises that don't follow their preferred popular t...

Thing is, Nintendo doesn't make the same game. I wouldn't buy their product if they do.

THey just use the same characters and themes in their games.

When I played Mario 64, it was nothing like Mario World. When I played Mario Sunshine it was nothing like Mario 64. When I played Mario Galaxy it was nothing like Mario Sunshine. Same with th zeldas, metroid and so on.

The reason people like Nintendo is because they keep things fresh.

Sony fanboys generally want to see everything on Nintendo hardware on Vita. Even though they never buy it when it does actually happen(here's looking at you Rayman Legends.)

Nintendo's online is good. I've run into no problems with it.

The problem is that there are so few games that use it.

Most games are releasing without online component and that's the third parties fault, not Nintendo's. They chose to not implement it and kill the sales of their own game.

I'm looking forward to the next Mario and Sonic at the Olympics purely because it has online functionality. I've never been intereste...

Nintendo has been doing it since the Wii. The infrastructure is also fine. 3rd are just not opting to use it.

Go beg the third parties on this one. Nintendo can't force them to do what they don't want to.
