How about working on the existing 1080P LCD sets to get rid of mura "clouding", banding, and better response times before we go to a resolution nobody has any content for.
I'm right there with you. I can't tell a real difference between the two. I'm glad to see it working great on both systems.
I played the 360 version first (PSN takes forever to download) then the PS3 afterwards and they felt the same to me. I couldn't see a difference between the two that standed out to me. They both have the same color reproduction from what I can tell. Both systems are hooked up to a Sony 46XBR4 via HDMI.
I played it last night on the 360 first (because PSN takes forever to download anything) and then PS3. The games looked pretty much the same to me. If anything the PS3 looked softer because it was outputing 720P and the 360 scaler was pushing 1080P to my 46XBR4. It looks a plays great on both systems. I'd have to see a side by side HD video to see any difference.
I agree it's a good looking game hands down. I like you am just tired of the lying about the resolution it's rendered in.
If I here one more person say this game is 1080P I'm going to throw up. The game does not run at 1920x1080 which is the 1080P spec. I believe it's like 1280x1080P or something along those lines but not a full 1080P. Sure it's better then Halo 3 and COD4 but still is not the real thing.
How about they get some balls and actually let you play as the Axis powers during the single player game. That would bring something new to the series if they feel the need to go back to WWII.
I'm tired of the game industry and their advertising practices. On TV all I see are ads for games showing little if any game play just prerender stuff. Game screens are usually touched up or from angles not even available in the game. Reviews are bought from advertising dollars. As much as I hate government evolvement I think a third part really needs to step up and fix this stuff. It’s false advertising at it’s finest.
The reviewer must have made a mad dash through the game to complete it and all the quests that quickly. I played on the most difficult level and beat 75% of the game in about 23 game hours which is probably close to 30hrs of my time considering restarts and stuff.
I played the game from start to finish on my 360 Elite. I had no issues with the game locking up and disc read errors.
From your comment I can tell you haven't actually played the game for any lenght of time. This is a great game and I'm enjoying it just as much as R&C. Keep the PS3 fanboy comments to yourself.
I don't know about the sales figures but since it needs a beast of a PC to play it the way it's meant to be played I can see it cutting into the potential audience limiting sales. I'm not buying it for that exact reason. I don't have the money drop on SLI 8800GT combo (if you can even find one for MSRP) just to play one game. I have a feeling I'm not alone.
I see a stripper pole in that shot. Hopefully they'll have a scene where you go in and they all start running around for cover during a gun fight with terrorists.
The single player story cut scenes made pretty much no sense. The gameplay was a little mech heavy and there was a lot more they could do with the character. The graphics where great in some parts and ok in others. I'd like to see a sequel with better story production values, in others words makes sense all the way through.
Wow even though they are scans the game looks great. It looks like a clear step up from Sigma and bringing everything in the game into next gen, not just the character models.

Sorry but man on man action and women on women is just unnatural. I had a lesbian roomate and love her to death. Just didn't agree on her lifestyle. Don't get me wrong I think some people are born gay but some chose that because it's the "cool" thing to do.
So far I've found Lair to be an above average game. The controls get take a little time to get use to but aren't broken like Gamespot said. I find that I go to the analog sticks when the action gets hot by mistake. lol The graphics are pretty good but not wow like when it originally was announced. I'm not feeling the dragon's eye effect cut scenes, they should have just made it full screen. However, so far it's been a fun rental and I look foward to finishing it.
This whole thread is crazy. I own both games and they are great. It's about time the Wii got something new that wasn't a mini-game fest. Bioshock isn't over hyped either. Well I guess 10/10 would be much but it's still a AAA title. I would expect Metroid to sell more because the franchise has been out since NES. Bioshock is the start of a new one and doing very well.
The graphics look on par with any of the UE3 Engine stuff. Sorry it's not Crysis but I guess they'd like more people to actually be able to play it when it does come out. I think it looks great, just let them get the game out already. It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum; and I'm all out of gum!
Oh by the way let me know what game out there shows muscle move like that on character models.
