GameFly works out a deal for bulk shipping with the USPS. Trust me that the couple cent increase in shipping isn't accounting for an additional one dollar per subscriber. Just an excuse to get a little more of your money. If it was just to cover your shipping costs it would be cheaper then $1. That is unless you get games every couple days.

The Samsung is only like 1000:1 or 1500:1 at most native and 8000:1 dynamic just like the Sharp is 10000:1 dymanic.

I'm not a big fan of the graphics in this game but it does look better then these screen grabs. The demo has some AA going on so the jaggies aren't as bad. Keep in mind I was playing this at 1080P over HDMI on an Elite.
I woke up this morning and played the demo for 30 minutes before I went to work. I played as the 2005 Mustang GT which is the same car I own. The car seemed a lot looser then it is in real life. The graphics are ok but it really looks like an Xbox 1 game running at 720P. Why did they delay this again? The deal breaker for me is no in car view. PGR3 and TDU are a blast to play with the virtual interior. It puts me into the game more then just the hood or nothing but gauges on the screen...

The official pics and these pics look a lot different. This stuff looks like original XBox stuff. The official pics look next-gen. I guess you only get all the nice effects in replay mode which sucks.

Well as both a Premium and Elite owner I think I'm a pretty good judge of value. Yes the Premium was the best bang for the buck. However, if you are interested in HD and have a nice HD set HDMI is a big factor. The picture quality is noticeably sharper. A lot of sets can do 1:1 pixel mapping on HDMI. This gives you some extra viewing area and a possible one up on other players by removing over scan. Some TVs can do this on component as well but it’s not as common. The bigger hard drive...
Good Point. The Elite makes the Premium the worst value of the three models. If you want budget go Core and if you want it all of Elite. Why settle for the middle of the pack?
I bought an Elite to upgrade my Premium and have been happy with it. However it's not going to be for everyone. If your HDTV supports 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI then it might be worth it. That way you lose the overscan and get some more of the picture that's usually cropped off. The extra space on the hard drive is nice as well. I was a pretty heavy PC gamer but $1500 every two years to upgrade my box was getting expensive.
I bought an Elite to replace my launch 360 (problem free up until this point) and have been enjoying it. I really think MS should have used this to phase out the core model and do a price drop on the premium. If they want to keep the core then drop that to $199 to send a shot across the Big N's bow.
Forza 2 for most people is a title you'd want to buy. Shadow Run was more a rent and see title since it's pretty much multiplayer only. Explains why more people are renting it then Forza 2.
