Global Warming is bull. When I found out that temps on Mars have risen along with a slight increase one earth that sealed the deal for me. Last time I checked that don't have cars, jets, and other stuff to throwing chemicals in the air. The one thing they do share is the Sun which I believe has more activity as of late causing the rise. Regardless I still think we should be good stewards of the land and not overhype this crap. Remember Al Gore makes money off your carbon credits. If tha...
This game has been hyped to the extreme. He's just trying to bring it down a notch before everyone gets it. That way when it doesn't make your lunch for you, you're not upset.
Technically it's not 1080P. 1080P implies there is a 1920 vertical resolution going along with the 1080 horizontal resolution.

With that said I have MG4 on preorder and will download the beta soon to check it out. I just get tired of people throw terms around that aren't right. Probably the same people that called NES games "tapes".
If the game runs at 1080P (this is a standard). Then the game must run at 1920x1080 resolution. Instead, MGO is 960x1080 so the vertical resolution is half of the 1080P standard. While it's better then COD4 which runs at 1024x600 it's still not real 1080P. Now when the PS3 renders and outputs a game like MGS4 at 1080P that would be truly impressive.
Given what I've experienced so far playing the demo yesterday this review is right on. Remember it's a big demo that's it. A 7.5 is still good and trust me the final version will be in the 9's so no big deal.
The frame rate drops and screen tearing is still there during replays from time to time. At least it is for me running at 1080P.
Agreed, car games for the last couple years now have looked great. I think they are just easier to recreate then a dense jungle. I own both games and Crysis still has the better graphics (assuming you have a killer PC that can run it right) hands down!
Cutting down sales and tax revenue for the Aussie Gov. can speak volumes. Way to stand up to the man.
I swear this is like a repeat of when Windows XP came out. Oh Windows 2000 is so much faster. Oh Windows XP has a bloated Fisher Price looking interface. Oh Windows 2000 makes me lunch for me and XP doesnt. Etc, Etc. Overtime Vista will improve and so will driver support. It's really more 64-bit drive support that is needed then anything. The biggest mistake they made was offering a 32-bit version which made driver developers lazy.
I have two Vista boxes. One 64bit and on...
It's not a bad game offline and I enjoy it. However, I find it really hard to bat online. Sometimes I'll hit the button and the batter won't swing all the way through. Frustrating at the very least. I play on a Plasma so I don't have much in the way of input lag. My Internet connection is good with a low ping.
Yup, can't wait for this one!
Buying games is almost never a good investment. Outside of a few games you can't get near what you paid for them. Then count inflation in with it and what you get is even less.
Here is a link to buy it. Pick your format.

Some TVss give you the option to do that. However, you really shouldn't play around with the grey scale (RGB) controls unless you have pro equipment since most of the time it's in the service menu and you can do more harm then good.
Black on Black crime is a problem in the U.S. and then Capcom would be accused of promoting it. See what this PC society has done to us? You always have to worry about someone being offended. People need to get some tough skin and just worrying about living instead of this petty crap.
I can understand why the trailer out of context could be upsetting to an older black American because of things they may gave suffered. However, at some point people have to get past things. It's almost like a never ending victim mentality and there are plenty race baiters (Rev. Wright) out there to keep it going. Heck if I listen that crap every Sunday I'd hate white people and be upset too! Sure there are racist people of all races but the bottom line is we are making progress and the f...
You know I would have no problem doing that if Sony was the only one getting screwed in the deal. However, it would be Wal-Mart getting screwed instead because Sony won't accept it. It's not their fault Sony gave us the Sixaxis.
LOL, good one! :)
I don't understand why lean isn't in the console version. They could have mapped a button to it. I usually prefer my FPS games on the PC if that is a option on day one. However, when COD4 came out I was still running my old rig which would have been worse then the 360.
This years lineup has been plagued with smearing of dark colors. Playing COD4 on a set can be a mess at times. Any quick movement will drag dark colors across the screen. Just checkout the AVSForum.com to see what I mean.
