The only problem I have with PSN is the download speeds. It takes forever and a day to download a demo while I get it in 1/8th of the time on Xbox Live. Hopefully the download speed will improve over time.
That's ok let the haves fill the pockets of the have nots buying things for stupid prices like that.
How about Marvel vs. Capcom vs. SNK?
In these days of the drive by media it's headlines first facts later. The Fox story on Mass Effect was a perfect example of bringing on people with no idea about a topic. Then afterwards having even more people sit around and talk about it based off the previous persons uniformed comments. It's sloppy but just realize that CBS, NBC, CNN, PMSBNC, ABC, all do this but with more important stories like the economy, war, and politics.
Oh quit the fanboy crap. I've played both 360 and PS3 demo version on my Sony XBR4. They look pretty much the same with the 360 version coming in a little better being upscaled to 1080P by the system instead of the TV. However, I find playing DMC4 easier on the PS3 because I'm so used to playing the old games on PS2. They both look great and I honestly wouldn't mind having the game on either system. Everyone is a winer. I'll probably go 360 since currently I don't have a Dualshock 3 for...
Saleen Mustang FTW!
All you have to do is hack the registry and change some values in Vista to make screen shots like this. I'm not buying them one bit.
Wow, I guess I shouldn't be suprised that some people are cool with getting milked for every dime they have from game companies. Marketplace was suppose to be a place were there was user created content along with the pay stuff. Pretty much it's only a place for companies to sell their horse armor to the suckers.
You pay $60 bucks for a game and for the next couple months you have to pay for songs that probably would have been in it had DLC not existed. DLC on the 360 and in some respects on the PS3 is a joke. I guess I'm just old school and remember a time when developers offered this stuff for free as a thank you for buying the game. When you paided for something it was an expansion pack which was almost like getting another game not a few songs.
I read the Q&A, looked at the pics, and watched the video in HD. WOW, I loved this game as a kid. This looks like 100x better with the improvements. Just awesome! Now can they pickup the rights to Castlevania 3 and give it the same love or maybe Konami could catch a clue from this.

and it's a total crap NFL cash in. The graphics look like an upscaled PS2 game. The game is like a lame verison of NFL Street.
At $50 bucks it's still one hell of a upscaling DVD player!
HD DVD has been declared dead many times but yet seems to bounce back. It is the better "format" per say because it's a complete standard. If you bought a player from day one you will be able to use the same features on the discs for years. Unlike early Blu-ray players that won't meet the profile 1.1 and 2.0 specs. Plus the fact other movie companies would want Sony, a movie company, to hold the keys to the format is beyond me. It's not the end of the world to me because I have...
I'm not sure I'd be interested in playing a FPS against the U.S. where you probably would last all of two seconds. If they ever used their full military might and stopped worring about protecting civilains and what the media thought about them, any conflict would be over in days.
Maybe it's just me but I still can't login. It keeps kicking me.
Rear projection sets are still some of the best out there for gaming. Plus you don't have to break the bank to get 65-70 inch sets. A properly calibrated DLP or LCoS set will look awesome.
Now I just need the uber PC to run the game. While the game looks good it's not OMG I'm that much better then the UE3 engine good that it kills every piece of PC hardware out there. I have a feeling the code still needs a lot of work because from what I read this game doesn't even use multiple cores properly.
Heck I'd take the original KI redone as a Live Acrade game in realtime. The 360 has the power to do everything from the game in 3D on a 2D plain. KI in 1080P just like SF2!
Solid review that hopefully is a sign of things to come for Gamespot after their "issues" of late.
