Yup I'm dusting off the PS3. Time to play more then Blu-rays for me!
However, MS is doing nothing for the extra three day wait which sucks.
The woman I spoke to yesterday in CS laughed in a good way when I say it makes you want to buy a PS3. She also agreed they should redesign the thing. Probably was her last day.
If all they have to offer you is a broken product it doesn't matter. I had a launch 360 Premium that failed back around Christmas and my launch 360 Elite just failed yesterday. It's crazy that MS hasn't taken big steps to redesign the console to improve it's failure rate. My system sits on a open rack so I know it's not a heating issue.
I just rent them through Gamefly. :)
I hope EA doesn't succeed in this. They can't seem to get what would be good concepts right.
This is bringing back some serious child hood memories. I'll be picking this up for sure.
Looking at the diagram it shows DX10 and the Xbox360 using the process. This just helps confirm earlier reports by developers that the 360 while not using the offical DX10 standard works the same way.
You must just fly through games or play them on an easy level. COD4 was in the 6 to 8 hr range for me and Gears was around 10. I think this 6.5 review is pretty accurate playing Army of Two so far. It seems like it could have been so much more.
Did you read the article or just the headline? They are stopping Google from taking images of US Military bases. Which is totally logical. I'm sure China is opening up their bases to Google....oh that's right Google does what China says.
You can still do a Google search on a PC at the Pentagon or on base.
If it was anything like the demo it felt like a cheap budget game. Nobody seems to know how to do much with the UT3 engine other then Epic...
Can someone bring out a game where you can play through WW2 as the Nazis? I know it's risky but it would at least be something different.
The demo looked and played the same on my 360 and PS3. I bought the 360 version only because I know more people with 360s. It's a lot of fun to play but yeah it doesn't get the love it should from the Live crowd. Everyone is still too busy with COD4, I know I am. :)
I thought they were talking about a new Bond Game from the name of it. Well that is until I saw Square Enix.
I'll tell you one thing even if Intel made a 10x improvement in their graphics line it still wouldn't even be as good as NVIDIA's midrange 9600GT.
The only issue I have with Vista 64 is copy speeds. Everything else is working well on my old Athlon 64 3000+ with 2.5GB of RAM. Now I will tell you I updated my friends motherboard bios and we had to reactivate Vista because of that. Nothing like sitting on the phone talking to someone who I can't understand and barely can understand me.
I'd love to see HD DVD live as a unground format for he hardcore AV types.
Here the game isn't out yet and they are already talking DLC coming soon. The game is only like six hours or something and it seems it might have been time better spent to include more in the base game instead of nickel and diming us to death. But then a again the days of quality free DLC as a thank you for buying a game are over. Unless your Epic and not on the MS platform.
It's called MLB08 The Show FTW!
Looks good, graphics seem to drop off a lot from the single player game though.
On my customer built box with Vista 64 and my girlfriends Vista 32 bit box and no issues. Sure people are going to have problems. Not even OSX updates are perfect. It's whatever people want to hype and right now piling up on Vista is the thing to do.
