side note: I bought it from a store not knowing only the games with the Uncharted 2 beta sticker had the beta. I got the game but didn't get the beta or the gigawatt blades. Bummer. Changed my comment on PSN to something about not having either and 2 different people hooked it up. Pays to have a big friends list.
Means Sony will not be in a rush to put out PS4. I'm all for these consoles going the distance. Both are producing games like something I ever imagined and it's still pretty early in their lifecycles.

than you're missing something...maybe a chromosome. 360 and Sony are both selling hardware extremely well. Argue about the quality of the games but to argue sales when no one here is privy to what either Sony or MS makes or loses on a console is pointless.

If the 100 bucks is that much of a deal breaker then people should take advantage of the Gamestop promo, the various Amazon deals, Dell deals, and...worse case...buy a used system off Ebay. I'd rather the system remain in 3rd than cut the price, be in 1st, and then go bankrupt.

Sony showed the best games.
MS put on a better show but the content of Sony's show was much more impressive.
MS gets a B- for showing CGI and practically nothing coming later this year that's exclusive other than L4D2 and Splinter Cell.
Sony gets an A-. Great games and all gameplay trailers but Jack Tretton is so nervous doing the show I wish they'd outsource it to someone. Maybe Jeff Rubenstein. Also, I'm not a fan of either company going motion control...
I hope the general gaming public proves me wrong and supports something new and innovative like Heavy Rain. This is right up there with Uncharted 2, God of War III, and Modern Warfare 2 as my most anticipated games.
With the new game coming out? Maybe Valve will prove me wrong but I don't see them releasing anything substantial for the old game. How could they? They want to sell copies of L4D2. I'm still shocked they're going to release the sequel a year later on the day from when the first came out. I wonder if EA will have Valve crank out L4Ds like EA does Madden.

no one really plays on the first DLC maps and, unless I'm wrong, I don't think any map is as good as Radac Academy and Corinth Crossing.
but Tor is certainly doing his best to get some MS sponsorship. Most of the guys on this show are big MS fanboys. Constant Sony bashing, guys that don't know more than N4G tells them stating it's too late for Sony to do whatever, and one guy that can't express himself w/o using the F word every other sentence.
I had high hopes for the show but I don't like the direction its taken. I guess fanboy fodder gets hits/subscribers but not me.
