this guy just seems like a vile person. He always looks unkempt. I get that whole vacuum cleaner salesman from him.
One of the few guys in the industry whose firing would cause me to be a little worried about where PS3 is going.
particulary with this:
Q: "In hindsight was the inclusion a Blu-ray drive in the PS3 a mistake?"
Kaz Hirai: "Purely from a gaming standpoint there was no other choice for us. Why? The capacity of the disc. Last year's Metal Gear Solid 4 was pushing 50GB as it was. If it was on DVD it would have been a 6 disc set. The packaging and cost would have been prohibitive and it would have been hugely inconvenient to consumers. So from a gaming standpoint there was r...
you two should do a podcast. Seems like everyone that talks about a game nowadays has to spoil it in some way. I'm sill in the Warren and I'm just messing around. I've done 17 of 21 stunts and I'm collecting shards just for the heck of it. Love the game. Once I finish with summer school I'll play it non-stop again.
Nintendo ripped off consumers by selling them a gamecube for 250 because of it's motion controller.
MS ripped off consumers by charging you to get online and selling a console with the highest failure rate ever.
Just like an MS fanboy or Wii fanboy would say, you don't have to buy it. I'm not buying a PSP Go. It's overpriced and I already have a PSP. In fact, I'm just waiting on a pro duo 16gb to go for under 30 on Ebay to pick one up so I can be ready to start downl...
"The people that purchase this game and are thinking right now "I'm gonna be an awesome leader! I cant wait!" are the ones that you want to play with. And who WOULDNT want to be a top ranking leader?"
I agree. Those people that buy thinking that are going to be awesome to play with. But c'mon man, you've played the team orientated games online. Rarely do you get a team that works together. Don't get me wrong; when it happens it's friggin awesome. But after de...
Prototype you rent. And that's not a slight at 360 because the game isn't exclusive. The fact that my actions influence how the populace sees me sold me on infamous. In Prototype it seems you're just a walking wrecking ball. I'm sure the game is fun though. I plan on restarting my Gamefly account in a few weeks. It'll probably be one of the first games I play.
which is cool...but I don't think most online players can work together effectively. Heck, I can't even get medics in KZ2 to heal. People with the repair badge simply don't fix anything. Now I'm going to expect these same people to listen to me if I'm squad leader?
Sony offers a free online service. The otherside charges 50.00 bucks a year to maintain their predominantly peer to peer service. Sony has to generate revenue to subsidize this free service. So there's Home. You pay 50 cents here, 1.00 here, and Sony takes that money and puts it into the pot. The same pot that PS2 earnings go into. While I don't use Home, I don't fault Sony for it anymore. Whatever keeps PSN free.
And who knows, next time I get a refund from school I may take a ...
and we all saw the single player for the first time in action, I almost wept. It was one of those water shed moments in gaming. Similiar to when I saw Mario 64 for the first time. So glad to be a gamer. The game, the characters, and the visuals are all doing new things. Fanboys miss out.
buy the game on 360 and sell it on Ebay to Europe 360 owners.
on this when it's not in the actual review? Oh yeah, because Bloodmask submitted this.
What happened to Killzone 2 was that Guerilla made a critically acclaimed game. If you didn't like it then that's your own opinion. I can't answer for an individuals subjective view of the game.
when they can. All these critics and psuedo-analysists are begging for a price cut and saying Sony has to do it but if Sony does it and goes bankrupt they'll look back and say they never should've cut the price. Hilarious. It's 399.99. It's the same price as an Elite. It is the "elite" system of the three just based off the fact that it does so much more than the other consoles. Software sales are good, worldwide sales are great, and Sony's console is just hitting it's stride.
if the competition does something right you'd be a fool not to play their game and try to mimick, if not improve, upon what they did. When the KZ2 devs said they were playing a lot of COD4 I felt assured the game would be great. Good sign if you're a GT fan.
Have you played with the High Precision option on? Just curious.
please please please give it another chance. The 1.27 patch REALLY helped the controls out a lot. High Precision made the game as close to COD4 controls as I think are possible while keeping the Killzone2 feel. Great game. I'm going for my top 1% right now.
You actually have some sort of peripheral to hold. But I'm not really into motion capture stuff. I might pick it up solely because I already have a PS3 eye and I'm looking for a game everyone in the family could play.
ma ma (makes puckering sound).
I think I just became a fan of cosplay. That or large breasted Japanese women.
