Glad it finally happened so 360 fanboys and all the big sites can stop begging for it. MGS4 was crucial for Sony to keep exclusive at the time because they didn't have their own exclusives ready yet. Not the case this year as you shall all see. Kudos to 360 guys for finally being able to take part in a Kojima game but trying to act like you got one up on Sony fans is just plain nuts. You had a good show and some very quaint looking games but other than that there wasn't much.

I didn't get tired of the maps in the game at launch. Having to wait a few weeks/months to get the DLC is no biggie to me. Just glad MS wasn't able to buy timed exclusivity.
Let Uncharted 2 have the spotlight this holiday season. Then follow-up with an AAA game shortly thereafter in GOW3.
I was supposed to start class on Wednesday thus allowing me to kick back and have a few brews during the conferences. My prof decided to start class early (did anyone know they could do that? I didn't) so now I can watch the shows but I'll be unable to "relax" like I would if I didn't have school later. Oh well. 2 hours of Sony goodness! I figure the PSP's getting about 35-45 minutes of coverage, the PS3/PSN getting an hour of coverage, and PS2 getting a brief 5 minutes if that.
But this is MS, and who knows what they did at the last minute. Maybe they backed a dump truck of money to IW to get the game exclusive. I dunno.
If it's a timed exclusive that's going to bite because the controls of KZ2 have just made me long for Modern Warfare 2. Hopefully the 1.27 fixes this some. I know I'm going to get flamed but the game's only drawback are it's floaty controls.

Can't wait to see what those guys do on a console. If the game is even close to the PC graphical goodness then they can gladly get my 63 bucks for yet another FPS.

whatever system it's on I'm buying day one. I bought FF3 off the strength of a friend and it just felt wrong...for the first like 2 hours. After that I was hooked. Maybe I'm getting nostalgic but I swear they don't tell stories now like they did back then.
Great read. I'll watch MS' conference because I want to see what MS is bringing out this year and also because I want to see the third party games shown at length. The same 3rd party games I'll be able to get on my PS3. I'm sure MS will procure some sort of exclusive dlc in an attempt to make the third party games "its own." But so what? The exclusives Sony is dropping this year are just mind blowing. God of War III, Uncharted 2, possibly GT5, and whatever else is coming that I don'...
but if they can replicate the Sony area or make a pseudo E3 for us to walk around in Home that would be nuts. 2 more days!
Anyway, I fully believe Sony is having a throughouh discussion as to what they can cut from the PS3 to make it more cost friendly. WiFi, extra memory slots, excess USB slots, etc can all be cut to introduce a 299.99 sku. Heck, bring back the 20gb hdd imo. When's the last time we saw a 5 gb install? Even KZ2 doesn't require an install.

Seriously, the entire show underwhelmed. You're bragging about getting a game that PS3 is getting as well? Pathetic.
PS3 games continue to look better and better. 360 games have hit a wall. But hey, glad you get to enjoy the same multiplats as me and that exclusive Beetles song really got me jealous /s.
