I thought you owned a PS3. What do you care if the game goes multiplat or not? Besides, according to you the 360 has so many better games as is. Why are you worrying about a PS3 game then?
The article is a little controversial and I'm not tech savvy enough to refute or affirm what it says.
What I'm curious is what disc drive will MS use for its next console? I doubt it'll go DVD9 again. Will it encorporate some sort of new dvd tech solely for gaming purposes or will it join the blu-ray consortium?
Any thoughts?
I'll probably pick 'em up. I would like to see a home run derby type game, definetely some sort of miniature golf game, tennis would be cool, and a fencing game would be great.
Some people say the precision of the controls might hurt their marketability in the end. I don't think this is the case but if it is that doesn't mean there can't be an option to tone down how precise the controls are.

The PS3 jump over the PS2 was what? How about the 360 over the original Xbox? Now lets compare that to the jump of a Wii over a Gamecube.
Very easy to point to the PS2 and the PS1 to make the Wii specs look better than they are considering that the PS1 came out in 1994 and the PS2 came out in the year 2000.

and not a moment later. As I've said before, if you really want a PS3 and one hundred bucks is the make or break amount for you, then you can take advantage of a myriad of sales and promos on the net and possibly get a PS3 for as low as 250 brand new.
Heck, when I wanted a 3DO (for Super Street Fighter II Turbo) I must have shoveled the snow off every street in my neighborhood. I worked overtime to afford an Xbox when it came out, etc.
Gaming is an expensive hobby....
but I still have to wait for them to finish the 360 version before I can get my hands on the game.

I was a little worried how his characters and universe would fare if someone else took over the helm. Yes it's true that God of War has done well with a different director on every game but that doesn't mean it's always a good idea to do that.

Those days are likely over. Nintendo has shown Sony and MS you can lauch a console with simliar specs as the last one and do very well.
Not so bad I guess considering I'm more than happy with 360/PS3 level of visuals. Kudos Nintendo. You lost me as a customer but gained a whole new market of "gamers."

when I saw Geoff Keigley or whatever his name is was posting all the news prior to it happening? I stopped going to N4G where that sort of news could ruin something for me. It's really easy guys: just ignore that persons feed and avoid the sites that publish what he's saying.
E3 was great. MS and Sony pulled out the big guns and no twitter feed could be big enough to ruin that.
they found a new demographic to market to. Nintendo isn't really a competitor for MS and Sony because they cater to a completely different market. Sony and MS seem intent on going after the Wiis customers and I guess I can't blame them but I don't think it's wise.
360 is 199.99 and it's still outsold by the Wii on a regular basis in the US and Japan.
I think Sony and MS should focus primarily on the hardcore and leave the casual market to Nintendo.
7.5 is a good game. But I think most people don't buy a game unless it gets an 8 or higher.
