The game is gorgeous. I know 4 guys that only own a 360 that are already saving money for a PS3. Sony is really starting to flex that PS3 muscle. God of War 3, a price drop, and GT5 means MS is going to have to really step its game up. Not all the console exclusives from Valve can compete with those three IPs.
And BTW, how in the world did Sony give these shots to Eurogamer? Eurogamer and Edge should be blacklisted in my opinion.
I see so much made on here about Sony fanboys and yet nothing is said about MS fanboys like CTHULHU. Seriously, an Xbox 1 games looks nearly as good as MGS4? Wow. That's beyond being a fanboy; that's just insane.

No trophy patch? Does it cost a lot to implement trophies in an old game or something? I figured once Sony rolled out trophies most of my old games would get 'em. Heavenly Sword and MGS4 trophies would've been niceeeeeee.
Sony has yet to make a console that isn't easy on the eyes. This would be a first. That flat pancake looking thing looks ugly as heck. Price drop I'm sure, but I hope this isn't the PS3 slim.
That's in October, no? I know it's a good ways off from now. I hope to god this doesn't take off for Sony's sake because people will essentially not buy a PS3 until the cut goes into effect.

Yeah, PS3 doesn't usually sell as many copies of a 3rd party game as the 360. But it does sell a very substantial amount of games. To close the door to the 4-5 million people that will ultimately buy Modern Warfare 2 is just insane.
Activision, if it wasn't for a little game called Modern Warfare I'd be cheering for Sony to call your bluff. I've had enough of your plastic instruments and, now, plastic skateboarding games.

I haven't played MGS4 since I first got it a year ago. I was waiting for trophies. The game was easily one of the top five games I've ever played. Trophies would only enhance that.
Oh well, I guess I now have to watch G4 to at least see if this is some new footage. I usually don't watch G4 unless it's E3 and that's just because no one else broadcasts E3.

Too true. If you have a PC worth a darn you really don't need a 360 since most of the "exclusives" are available on PC. I don't have that kind of PC and I don't think I'll ever get one. I'd much rather take that money and put it toward some of the great games coming this holiday season.
You act like Ghostbusters is Modern Warfare 2 or some other major IP and you have the much better version. Ghostbusters is an okay game and the visual difference between the two is wasn't even enough to warrant a lower score in visuals (on IGN at least).
