I don't even care about damage. It doesn't matter to me. If it weren't for the whole damage to every vehicle obsession we've have the darn game by now. But hey, they want to put it out when it's absolutely perfect. And I can't fault them for that. In the interim I have:

Naughty Dog deserves to do big numbers on this game. While MS and Bungie are laughing all the way to the bank off pricing a DLC expansion at 59.99 whilst 360 bought it by the boat loads, Naughty Dog went the other way and not only delivered more content but with a much more polished engine and so much more content. Stand up PS3 owners. This is a game for you.

Turn10 should just focus on making a great game and not take shots at the king of racing sims. 360 fanboys will focus on every feature that Forza that GT doesn't. In the end, Turn 10 is and will always be playing catch up.

because you still have to pay for online and the 360 is still minus a blu-ray drive. The crowd that was waiting to get a 360 probably got one when the price hit 199.99 with the arcade.
That's not true for the PS3. By making 360 cheaper all MS is doing is making it easier for a 360 owner to pick up a back-up system if/when his other system should malfunction.

the graphics have improved, the community aspects sound crazy, and the damage to the cars are all great great features. But game of the year? You realize that some really good games came out this year. Forza 3 might not even win 360 game of the year let alone game of the year across all platforms. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this will be the racing game to get this year and definitely racing game of 2009, but game of the year is a stretch.
