Yeah, Im surprised that you're the first person to mention this (at least as I notice). He was quite good in that. I think the only reason people are complaining is because the media made him into a pretty boy when actually hes a pretty good actor.
Timothy Olyphant, the guy from Deadwood would be great. They're kinda similar characters and he even sounds like Marston. I actually thought he was doing the voice acting initially.
@Richard
Huh, I was unaware that Master Chief was a legitimate rank in the US military. Thanks for the heads up.
Right, poking fun at his name doesn't make a lot of sense. The head of the U.S. military is titled Commander-in-Chief which is more ridiculous than Master Chief... and is real.
The same thing happened with shadow complex. Since that was actually Chair.
I don't know the numbers but I think he means to have decimal points in there? That would make more sense. As far as I know the game didn't break any records and Im nearly positive their aren't that many 360s in homes. Or maybe they snuck a copy in my back pocket when I wasn't looking?!
HD is a great announcer. And that was a great game. I thought I was clever because I thought of the duel building strat before I saw him do it. I thought he had it clenched. Then bam! Extractor.
I play zerg and my only complaint is there lack of variety. Its not bad, but compared to the other races they have 3 less army units to utilize.
Well, its definitely not true that Americans support their own product based off location. Note how poorly the original Xbox did in comparison with the ps2. As for the 360s greater success here and failure in Japan. I think that largely boils down to the entry barrier (its not established there) and the differences in the games each market plays. I have my 360 for FPS and TPS... and Limbo?. The market for those types of games is pretty small in Japan (except maybe limbo, but thats an Arcade t...
@Jaden
I disagree, its just the types of shooters that don't reward the player for camping aren't based in reality. Unreal Tournament and Quake type games don't reward camping. However, people don't like to play the more arcadey shooters anymore. It has to be "realistic" to sell. So I guess I agree with you on the fact that, "realistic" shooters will never not reward campers. I just don't see how they would design around that.
Im a fan of many things, and I hate Activision. Except for the Blizzard part, but Im yet to feel let down by them.
Considering this is an RTS engine, and that was made by a random person. I would say thats pretty damn impressive.
Affirmative PSfan. Also, Im an American.
Graphics "are" more important than gameplay. Which is not true, but that's how that should read.
Voids don't loose their charge when they switch targets. Well, not immediately at least. Just like the beam charges up, it charges down too. Granted, it looses its charge faster than it gains it, but when a void switches from target to another (immediately) it retains nearly all of its charge. They are very irritating units. Seems like the only counter is massive amounts of small units (marines, hydras, or stalkers)
Unfortunately you won't see that news Hydro, since Microsoft has a contract with Netflix against that.
@Leon
I agree with your comment. At least on the basis of meaningful sex being important. However, Im not sure morality has lowered. Actually, I would argue the contrary. Sure people dress more sexually now-a-days, but that doesn't mean morality is lower. At least not my definition of morality. Just throwing that out there.
Not sure why SOAD got a disagree on his factual statement. AAA is money, not quality.
I played Cod MW2 for a good while. The second they charge I will never be seen again. I think there are a decent number of people like me that enjoy the tight gunplay but are not ravenous enough to willing pay monthly for it. Since, well, thats ridiculous.
I hate fanboys also...
I liked KZ2, but I don't think I saw what other people saw in the graphics. UC2 is the best looking console game to date in my opinion. From animations / textures / lighting all the way to overall style.
However, looking at what people are saying about KZ3 I don't understand. Naughty Dog had a filter mode to emulate the graphic style of your Gears and Killzones. Thats what I see in KZ3. Which is fine, but certainly not blow your...
