I'm still playing FF XIV since launch and I'm enjoying it very much! Even with the issues it has had in the past (which most of them have been taken care of) I still keep coming back for the story, the characters, the world, the creatures, and so on.
Chocobos are planning to be implemented after the huge Battle Fix patch in 1.18 in a few weeks or so, along with Ifrit Battle Quest, Materia armory system, Beast Tribe Strongholds, and more~
First of all, I'd like to start off by saying I'm no fan of Capcom and their business choices, however, I adore the games their creators make.
I also hate that whenever Capcom does something controversial, Resident Evil always seems to become their meat shield.
With that out of the way, I have to side with Capcom on this one (yeah, HUGE fucking shock). They <<<<<LOSE MONEY>>>>> on used game sales, its a proven fact.
Cliff B. himself said years ago when Gears 2 came out that Gears doesn't have long cutscenes, nor do they prefer having them in a game so they can get right into the action.
I personally enjoy cutscenes, they set the game up, get the anticipation of a scene or intro/ending to a game built up more an more satisfying~ IF they are done right. He even used MGS as an example.
I don't expect anything from Gears 3's cutscenes being all the worth talking...
I'm quite content with the remake/port of Ocarina. Anyone has a problem with it, that's their loss. And it's a shame because all the character models are beautiful redone, the environments look more lively and vivid, the 3D is awesome, and the controls are fantastic.
Why on earth would anyone have a problem with a $40 version of a handheld game that we all love and played on the N64 all those years ago? It's freaking Ocarina!?
<Goes back to...
It costs money to afford boxes, CD's, paper back manuals and so on for a game. When you make it DLC, it doesn't cost a dime besides the money and man hours it takes to make the game.
Now, you said, "The downloadable version will cost more"...
Downloadable games do not cost anything for the developers, accept for the money and hours it takes to actually make the game. What I'm referring to is the money it requires to get them shipped and ...
Zelda did a damn good job on opening sales week! Resident Evil not as much but still not bad at all for a new release. But seriously, GOD DAY~YUM..... fuckin' Poke'mon and Monster Hunter are tearing NPD sales a new one! O____o
It's obviously a countdown for Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D, which comes out on the 28th-29th of June in the U.S. (5 days from now).
The site is probably fan-made, it seems new and amateurish.
Because it costs less, Japanese don't use or prefer DLC in their region and the West voted in a poll on Capcom-Unity in the past that they prefer DLC over forking out the extra money for a game disc/box/etc.
I prefer game box/etc. but those are just the facts.
All Resident Evil / Biohazard games in Japan play in English, especially the newer ones. They use English voice acting and support several text options for players so you should be able to import this no problem. Also, the Japanese imports work 100% on American, and I'm sure UK/European, consoles. So, import away if you really must find the need to buy a boxed version of both games.
Yeah, that's just what we need, this fucking cocksucker of a company taking a shit on what's left of survival horror.
Fuck this game and fuck the guy who wrote this article. Nuff said.
Dude, I see enough Street Fighter characters in the media, I don't need them in my Smash Bros. too. If Capcom adds someone from their universe, have it someone who can believably fit into that game, with the Nintendo characters. I really don't need Ryu spamming shit on Mario man. Megaman is the only one who went missing from Marvel vs Capcom 3 and fits into the Nintendo world.
I like Reggie and I love Nintendo. I'm excited from what I saw at their press show at E3 and look forward to seeing more of the graphics engine the system can run with actual games, and how the online aspect works.
And for the people that dropped stock after Nintendo's show, well... I can't say their playing it safe or just plain stupid, but I can say they probably are judging and making assumptions way too fast to be losing faith in something that hasn't eve...
It's comedic, yet sad at the same time that one of the greatest gaming developers rarely makes anything gaming-related anymore. They glued to Microsoft's heel to make avatars for a dashboard and motion controlled gimmicks. No sense asking about them anymore until they become game developers again and not sellouts.
I gotta agree, LOL. It is rather pretentious of them to be such a cock tease for one of the greatest and beloved games of all time.
"Devil May Cry E3 trailer manages to impress"
Who the fuck was impressed!? Cause I was disappointed, along with everyone else I talked to.
I agree. Even though the game mode will be awesome as a stand alone purchase for the handeld, it REALLY should have been a bonus unlockable mode for beating RE: Revelations.
What I'm wondering is.... What do we unlock for beating Revelations now? Mercenaries 4D? Super Mercenaries!? Beats me...
I'm positive they'll announced Leon, Ada and someone else later on. Right now they're just redelivering us previously owned characters, minus Claire, of course.
Considering RE 5 had 10 characters to select from (albeit 6 were various costumes/loadouts for Chris and Sheva, and the other 4 were for Jill and Wesker. The addition of the DLC characters totaling over 14 in total.
I expect the full-retail version of a Mercenaries game to have at least over ...
First of all, Resident Evil has ALWAYS had a run and gun, bonus mode where you compete against the clock.
--> Ever play the Extreme Battle mode in Resident Evil 2?
--> Or the original Mercenaries mode in Resident Evil 3?
--> Which also carried on into RE 4 and RE5 and now the Nintendo 3DS.
So 'Jill' the fuck out and relax for 'Chris' sake. >:0
The stupid safe file crap has NOTHING to do with why this game is flawed, although it doesn't help much either to some. It's the controls, the lack on content and the lack of "certain characters" that leaves this as a disappointment. Although, that's not to say it is impossible to never have a good time or god forbid any fun while playing it. It can become quite addicting once you suffer through the extensive control layout learner process, and eventually you come to enj...
