I also formed this theory as well. I pretty much agree with Gamesradar on this one.
We could be wrong, but that's what makes trailers and RE games like this fun, they keep you guessing till the very end... Or till some asshole leaks it before the game even releases.
I don't think HUNK would ever reveal his face, nor does he have a mercenary background. He's a trained soldier by Umbrella's Security Service (U.S.S.)
On top of th...
Its pretty obvious you'll be able to move and shoot in this game. RE: Revelations you can move and shoot, albeit it still feels a little clunky on a handheld, and Opertaion Raccoon City without a doubt has updated control schemes copied from other games.
So it's pretty safe to say you'll be able to move around and shoot at the same time, dodge enemies via QTE buttons prompts like in RE4 and RE5 and melee the enemies.
RE: Outbreak File 2 you could...
Just give me a good game and not a half assed port with $5 DLC shoved down our throats like with that sorry excuse of a game I payed for on the 3DS. Yeah, RE: The Mercenaries 3D, I'm looking at you.
That was the laziest, cash-in game from Capcom I've ever payed for, and the fact it left such a shitty taste in my mouth, I don't even really care what they throw out as long as they put some EFFORT into it.
But I digress, sorry guys.

Am I dreaming!?
Did I just read, "Demo" and "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" in the same sentence?
HOLY SHIT!!!
Whaaaaaaaaa!? O______o
It's not like they're abusing the same mechanics, characters and storyline the same time, over and over. Each game is a whole new world, with all new characters, gameplay mechanics, mini games, side quests, stories, etc.
If anything, each one is almost like an entirely different game or franchise in itself. To be honest, the fact they CAN go that many titles and still be that creative is pretty refreshing.
The Resident Evil series, that's understa...
Trust me, that 8.0 is no where near as depressing as the score everyone gave Final Fantasy XIV. That shit got around a 3/10 on just about everyone's review. But I think XIII-2 looks pretty good.
Surprised Resident Evil got such a high score though, glad it didn't turn out to be as shitty as that half assed mercenaries port we got.
I got my 3DS just for Revelations so I really need to get the money together for that along with XIII-2 this month!
I thought the game looked pretty fucking awesome. Reminded me a lot of Dragon Ball Z and how a DBZ game should actually play like.
This is probably one of the very, very, very, very, very, very few games that I've actually seen that dos QTE's right. The only two other games that come to mind that can also be thrown into that category are Shenmue 1 & 2, and Heavy Rain.
And to be honest, before the demo came out, I could really have cared less about...
I just recently played both FF IX and FF XIII for the first time and I'm enjoying both. I'm still playing both, but plan to finish them and play more after. FF XIII, then XIII-2, then back to IX and finish that one up.
I think they slipped a bit along the way with FF XIV and XIII in some areas, mostly with XIV, but I do think they're on the right track again thanks to fan feedback and their drop in sales causing them to work harder.
I understand not everyone was into the story of FF XIII. I have to agree, it was a little hard to follow with all the weird names at first and fully grasp the whole situation.
I just started playing the game recently and have been reading all the little data log journals that update throughout the chapters and I have to say, it helps so much to collectively understand what is going on in the world around the characters. It's still not the best story in the series, but I a...
I mean, to be fair for the other gamers out there, they really did expect a lot from this title, so I can see why they were ultimately let down. It lacks some of the major staples that FF fans have grown to love.
Me personally, I'm a very forgiving person and take the good with the bad and enjoy what's there.
And to be honest, coming from a year of playing Final Fantasy XIV Online, when you pick up and play XIII after that mess it makes XIII look amaz...
I'll save my own judgement when I play the game later this month. I'm almost at the end of FF XIII (playing through it for the first time) and I'm enjoying it A LOT. If I had still went by other people's opinions on that game from here on out, I would never have bothered playing it.
I think that most people that have a bad taste left in their mouth from XIII are automatically entering with low expectations or setting themselves up to be disappointed again. And...
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm actually really enjoying FF XIII. And to hear that Square-Enix found inspiration from Skyrim and Red Dead (my two favorite games from each respective year) is pretty cool. They both do open world right and hopefully it helped them make FF XIII-2 a better game in the end, because I think from what I've been shown so far, it looks really, really cool.
If it's a bad/ok game, then oh well. If it turns out to be a refreshing ...
Awesome! As soon as I finish XIII (which I'm playing through right now) for the first time, I'm gonna download this next week and see how the beast taming aspect works in combat.
I think everyone is entitled to their very own opinion on a game or anything for that matter. And agree or not, we must respect that, no matter what.
With that being said, after... what? 2 years, more or less, after FF XIII's release, I finally picked it up for $14.99 on Black Friday and just recently started playing it after finishing Skyrim.
I have to throw in my 5 cents, which is probably going to be the same opinion of less than %5 of the people that ...
"Square Enix on Versus XIII: 'People will be excited when they next see it'"
Yeah? When? 5 fucking years from now? It's kind of funny.
This game, whether it turns out to be good or bad, it's inevitable: it cannot live up to hype built up over such an extended period of time. It's just not possible.
I know I'll enjoy it, simply because if I am enjoying playing FF XIII right now for the first time, along with ...
Wow... Ya just had to kill it CaptKilljoy. :/
(Sorry, I couldn't resist)
Yeah, they are pretty funny lol. But it's still in beta or, hell, even an alpha phase. So it'll probably look funny like that for ahwile until they get the code wired out and things rolling smoother down the line if enough people put time into it.
Dude, this shit is fucking awesome! Hope they really get fleshed out and working like they are envisioning it to be. Video looks good so far for a start!
For every time a person brings up or tries to start a ruckus about Resident Evil being racist, or controversial in the same topic a baby gets kicked through a field goal.
And let me tell ya, this fucking topic is on its way to the superbowl.
