I do support a game that I care about. I don't know about you, but I actually play the game and enjoy it. I get pissed also, but I actually read and understand the situation better than most people on here and know how hard it is for the current team to essential fix the game and make it fun and enjoyable for everyone.
If you don't like it, why bother coming on here reading about it?
I love how I keep finding these, "FF XIV has ruined our brand" articles and yet I've only seen a single Ifrit 1.19 post on this site... Guess its true, people love focusing on the negative points and not even giving FF XIV credit for all the massive improvements and promises coming our way.
Alright, first of all I just wanna say that I'm still playing FF XIV. I'm enjoying it and its definitely getting better and better with each patch. The amount of new content and things to look forward to increases each time as we move further down the year.
The game had a terrible launch, we all know that. Who's to blame? I have no clue. If Yoichi Wada made the call to release the game earlier than it should have, then he's to blame, not FF XIV for your brand ...

No thanks. I rather the team focus on improving a game that actually was capable of launching rather than leaving fans whining for it to be released over every other FF game that people actually still play and enjoy.

Same here, I never got to experience FF X back in the day, only the first few minutes of it. So, I plan on making an effort to buy this HD remastered version of it when it releases. Specially since my cousin considers this his favorite FF game, from what he's told me about it in the past.
I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit like most people commenting on this game. I'll play the game if I have the money and the chance to sit down and play it. Short or long, if its a good game, with a good story. Then I'll enjoy it. And if "I" like it, I like it. If I don't, I don't like it. That's all.
I never played and finished the entire game of FF XIII but I like what I've seen and heard, for the most part, with the changes to FF XIII-2...
@ Abriael: I agree, it doesn't look anything like the Dragoon armor we remember getting in FF XI or previous FF games, but that is what Lancers/Dragoons will be getting.
Dark Knight isn't in the game or the cracked data files, especially since Botanists are the only class that uses scythes in the game, and no more than one class can use the same primary or secondary arm unless its a shield.
This also occurred when people wanted Archers to use daggers ...
New jobs are coming AFTER the 1.20 and possibly the 1.21 patches with every single fix to the battle system and battle regimen system as we know it.
Arcanist and Musketeer are the next two classes being implemented once all the necessary fixes are complete. So, I hope that answers your question and satisfies your curiosity on that end.
BTW, Arcanist is rumored to perform like a Geomancer of some sorts, laying down traps, and Musketeer is to act like a Corsa...

I actually think this time traveling idea is pretty cool. Now, I haven't managed to sit down and play FF XIII yet, I'm on FF XIV everyday though, so aside from all the bad things I've heard about FF XIII I might try to learn more about it before trying this one, but I think it's safe to say this game looks much more promising and seeks to redeem itself after many of the fan outcries. Gotta give em some credit.
Final Fantasy XIV's heading in an awesome direction! Glad to see people out there are still interested in it and eager to jump in with all the new content, and not looking to poop on it like the new FF XIII game. Something's you just gotta give a fair chance. Even if its a second chance.

It's a lot better, but it still has several more patches of content needed to suffice a purchase in my opinion. But don't listen to half these people pissing and moaning about it, most of them played the alpha/beta and the first couple weeks/months of the game and then quit since then.
