Coming from an impossible to describe, by typing, Jurassic Park lover, and buying this game myself. I have to be completely honest with you by saying I would not recommend spending $29.99 on these 5 episodes.
They offer no replay value, the gameplay boasts that it is like Heavy Rain with Quick Time Events (QTE) yet there is no ability to walk around in the game like in Heavy Rain, and the graphics and animations are so sub par with today's standards, that it just doesn...
I think the way Skyrim set up is.... well I can't say perfect, because nothing is perfect in this world. However, if there was anything close to perfect... Skyrim would be it.
I think everything about the game, from its length, to its graphics, to its gameplay, story and musical score are just amazingly addictive and fun!
The fact that a game, that I've been playing for nearly 70+ hours now is still feeling engaging, refreshing and new each hour I pou...
Yeah, you got a good point about the lack of horse mounted combat. I felt being able to shoot a bow or something from your horse would have solved those issues.
But for the horses dying part, I just make myself save before every threatening encounter I come across on my horse, get off and fight and then get back on and ride around the land again. I don't mind getting on and off the horse at all since I do it in every single game. I think I even got off the horse to fight...
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I actually really enjoy the horse riding in Skyrim, and I've played Red Dead Redemption and many other horse centric games.
It sprints, it jumps and the horse even decides to fight for you sometimes. I don't see the issue there. But it could always use improvements, why not? But its not a major issue.
As for character animations and what not, I have to agree with the article on that. However, in its defens...
"Very few Skyrim players get married"
Yeah, that's because we're all too busy playing the fuck outta this game for the next several months!
And that goes for in-game marrying and out of game too.
I hate articles on Kotaku like this... I saw this the other day on there and it just left me a little irritated.
Skyward Sword and Skyrim are both amazing games and are 2 completely different experiences. Both games are considered 10/10 or near perfect on almost every gaming outlet around the planet.
They shouldn't have to be compared or argued on a comments section of who's better than who, or what the other one does or doesn't have. They both ...
Just checked... Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is currently going for $39.99 right now, here in the US.
I feel its 20 dollars cheaper than the original version, and a hell of a lot more money than what it really should be.
I want to get this game for Phoenix Wright so bad, but Capcom needs to learn to stop nickle and diming their fans.
I supported them through RE5 and a lot of other shit, but when they try and lure me in with Ace Attorney, I ha...
When you got a game that people can't even finish cause of its absolute EPICNESS of content... You know you've got a damn good game.
I'm still diving deep into all the various side quests and exploring the far reaches of Skyrim before I proceed with my main storyline.
"Capcom’s bargain priced update to the successful Marvel vs Capcom 3 doesn’t appear to be performing as well as its predecessor"
Yeah, that's because people got smart and didn't waste they're money on a clear as day, greedy move by Capcom.
About time their bullshit caught up with them. And as much as I love Phoenix Wright, Frank West and Nemesis in the new game, I'm not falling for their cheap tricks to get my money.

"Final Fantasy VII remake would take too long - Square"
And yet they have no problem doing a full blown remake of Final Fantasy X?
And if they're worried about a game of theirs taking too long to make, then they might as well just take a long hard look at the development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII and rethink their response.
It's not exactly hard to rebuild and improve upon a game that's already laid out in front of yo...
Didn't you hear? Those are the Mexican jumping spiders! And they're bouncing their way into your hearts one little, spastic, hop at a time...
This Gamestop exclusive pre-order crap is really starting to get old... Especially hearing that it's Final Fantasy related...Fucking Gamestop... =o=
Dude, that was fucking awesome~
On terms of being scary, Resident Evil 5 fails at that, because it isn't trying to be scary, its trying to be a hardcore, Michael Bay explosion-fest, awesome third-person shooter.
Resident Evil 5, as far as I'm concerned is an awesome fucking game to play with your Resident Evil friends, like I do, but is terrible to play as a Halloween-esque kind of game.
Nope, not really to be perfectly honest. I liked the past Vs games but just don't feel like wasting my money on Capcoms cheap business tactics anymore.
Which is why I'm not buying it. But this isn't about Marvel or the Vs series, its about Phoenix Wright, hence the title of the article which caught my attention right off the bat and deserved a fans response.
I think he's the only cool fighter in that roster. He's unique, comical and hilarious. Loos fun to play as too. Don't see what the problem is unless you've never played the Ace Attorney games and your just prone to whining.
I agree with Abriael, it deserves a second chance.

"its an abomination on PC currently"
Apparently, by the sound of your misinformed tone and rude comment, you've had your head in the clouds with the games current state and progress it has made.
And I'll have you know, I've talked to many of many gamers through my videos and on N4G that are still very interested in FF XIV, FF in general and this game coming to PS3.
So there. I said what deserved to be said.
Ugh, sorry. But Ken Levine brought us BioShock, and that alone makes him fucking awesome. And now he's back to bring us a fresh, new experience with BioShock Infinite.
Overrated is insulting not only to him but fans of his team and his games. You should be more respectful. If you aren't a fan of him or his work then I ask the simple rhetorical question of, why bother commenting or even getting the will to even look at an article featuring him and Todd Howard?
