To anyone who thinks Dead Space tops Resident Evil or any other classic survival-horror series, let's just see where this series goes 6 or 7 games down the road. There have only been 2 and a half (Dead Space: Extraction) and a few animated features. Never played one before until my friend urged me to buy this one and play with him.... Let's just say I had an awesome time playing this game, so much that I even want to go and play Symphony of the Night that everyone keeps telling me about.
This game is worth every penny of that $15 I spent. I only wish that it was longer and had higher difficulty levels once you pretty much obtain everything in the game. It's very addicting and plays very well with multiple people....

I'll admit that this game is NOWHERE near as fun on single-player as it is on multiplayer co-op with people to communicate with. But if you have any friends that are interested, then give it a go. I promise you, this game is VERY addicting once...
Regardless of what anyone else thinks, I thought Doom 3 was THE scariest, most frightening f-ing game I've ever played, from what I can remember. It was NO disappointment from my experience, unlike with other gamers unfortunately. I had a blast playing the demo and I've been on it since it released, (Aliens FTW XD) along with playing Mass Effect 2 on Insanity. I LOVE playing the demo and I'm looking forward to the full game even more!
