What... you mean like. Gears and Resistance, Halo and Killzone?
"and the hell is unearthed anyways"
un·earth (n-ûrth)
tr.v. un·earthed, un·earth·ing, un·earths
1. To bring up out of the earth; dig up.
2. To bring to public notice; uncover.
Duh. School much? Capt.Obvious? More like Private Ignorant.
So Uncharted and Unearthed are close because they both have "un" in their titles? Or is it the "ed" at the end?

@KingME
I am assuming that was sarcasm?
On finding out that it is now multiplatform I am assuming many fans are now backing out of their love and hope for the game and treating it like any other title.
Yea... maybe. But it is one thing to just say we are trying to prevent cheaters and pirates and another thing to say that the device actually bypasses copyright protection which is relevant when bringing the DMCA into the picture.
One thing about an RPG for me is that I need to be able to create my character for it to feel like a true RPG.
I am sure the Witcher is going to be a great game but the 3rd person view and the fact I am controlling a non-created character through-out the game makes me feel a little lack luster about the game.
But will I get it...? More then likely. As will I get Dragon's Dogma when it comes out next year.
RPGs are my game crack. ...
"...alleges Datel's SD-card-based memory cards violate the DMCA's provision against technologies that can circumvent digital protections, since they can be used to alter gamer profiles and manually change Xbox Live Achievements."
It has been noted that the cards directly bypass copyright protection and allows for game manipulation. So thinking MS might have a point here. Basically it allowed users to download saves and other items directly from the Xbox sa...
I am kind of hoping that it has a daylight to nighttime option. But not seeing that would be anything specific just to the one console though.
"Lets keep in mind about which platform started it all."
Are you talking about board games?? Checkers? Chess? Kids have been playing games long before electrical adaptations came about.
But with platforms... remember that consoles started it all as PC games themselves did not popularize Pong... it was when everyone could play the games in their homes that the revolution was started. The computer might have been the foundry of the invention but t...
"I didnt hear this much alledged noise when black ops or whatever was shown and their engines not as good as battlefields so im not so sure there are as many whingers as we're being led to believe. I mean ive honestly heard people say they're not getting this game because of its perceived low quality......strange thing when seeds are planted into what i consider a 'weaker' mind"
Sorry that did sound like a whino moment.
I hate having to read any story that needs google translation. Especially when the story is supposed to be technical in nature.
But he didn't even do that in this article. He literally said nothing about the gameplay of L.A. Noire. All he did was talk about HIS version of the same type of game that he is working on... which was an awful sales job.
The guy is a tool.
Actually I can argue that Cole is not a Cliche character. If you play the game then you will realize that he is far from any other character that you have played. The guy is messed up and you live his non-Cliche rise and fall from grace. Thinking the whole time that you know who he is until the next thing jumps into the story plot. Have you even played the story all the way through?
He might have the outside view of a Cliche with the '40s Detective look to him. But is t...
True... it was seperated ok until I added the quotation in from his rant. But then I was too bored to go back and adjust it.
I found it just the opposite. The main character was so quickly connected to in the story from the beginning. And his story and issues just got deeper as the game played out. He gave much more back story and insight to his psykey then most any character in other games.
It actually made you feel like you are playing a movie. Would I have prefered more shooting...? Yes. Does it take away from my enjoyment of the game? No.
I actually felt the story through the characters themselves. Without giving a direct spoiler I enjoyed the twists and turns that you would find in a Novel or say a good film. Things happen that aren't fully explained and yet through proper story telling they don't need to be fleshed out in full. That is what draws ...
Has to be the worst article that I have ever read. The whole idea behind the article is that he doesn't like the game because it has been done in different fashion within earlier titles and he doesn't like the concept of "...an investigative game about a detective in a fedora in a 1940's noir setting where everyone smokes like a burning building?"
That was all on page one of his article... nothing worth reading here to make me click on page two. Except...

Bluray players are selling more and more every year. Bluray disks though obviously having a larger quantity sold each year are not selling at an equitable rate compared to the standard DVD.
What most analysts focus on is the Bluray player adaptation in households. With the quntity of Bluray players in home versus said quantity of DVD players.
What they fail to compare is the rate of Bluray player price versus that of DVD pl...
The whole thing was just great. Best adaptation I have seen to date! I love the game and this had me rolling. The coffee spilling was good but the line after when he says... "this doesn't seem to help me." had me rolling.
And the yelling at the cop after he explained his weekend had me pissing my pants. Totally accurate... so many times I had wondered why Phelps suddenly starts just going off on some people like he wants to eat their babies. haha
@Tr10wn
Are you trying to say now that the next Tomb Raider is trying to copy Uncharted? Really?
Why is everyone having a hissy fit about this game coming out? For all we know it might be a PSN/XBLA title in work?
As for it being a clone? From looking at the video it has more in common with Tomb Raider then Uncharted. Just replace the main character with a female character and you would not see too much difference. Obviously Saudi is n...
