Just stop. If it weren't noticeable to many people the developers wouldn't bother putting any version, including PS4's, at 1080p. They'd use those resources to beef up the game in other areas.

No. However, when you have seven years of fans, media outlets, and reviewers stirring the public discourse to nitpick and hype the slightest graphical differences you can't expect people to not talk about even more significant graphical differences now, especially if all else is equal or in favor of the stronger console.

What is the spin? Seriously. There isn't anything significant or tangible there to warrant anyone bothering to spin it. Did we read the same article? Come out of the bubble and get some air so you can read the article with a little less bias, because if you think that article is something threatening, warranting spin, then you're reading it with pro-Xbox bias. I believe what you're referring to are actual significant scores (to keep our metaphor going) by the competition. Price, before the price drop, was an undeniable victory for PS4. Hardware is an undeniable victory for PS4. Forcing the competition to abandon its long term game plan and ditch support for a vital component of its system while outselling it almost 2-1 just "5 minutes into the first period" is a clear victory for the PS4. It's not so much hate as people responding realistically to the hyperbole that gets engaged in when something that can be construed as positive Xbox news is put out.
If people weren't so 'in your face,' going on two generations now, about any perceived advantage for Xbox people would probably be a lot less forward in their explanations of why it's not necessarily an advantage.

Knack will knock you on your butt if you go into it thinking it's sweet. I'm glad I played some PS2 games on the eve of the PS4's release. It helped prepare me for the difficulty. I think the difficulty was toned down, at some point, last gen to accommodate the courting of casual gamers.
Yeah. What a coincidence. And somehow the site that nearly doubled Xbox sales, over-tracking them by about 100,000, is now capable of calculating the gap to be less than 850 in not only the US but the UK as well.
