The reason? It's cheap! :O
Why does the Wii outsell the PS3 and the Xbox? Because it's a cheap alternative. Unfortuantely the system's low cost is also accompanied by low performance. If the Wii causes the industry to cater to the low cost bracket I'm scared that technological jumps will become a thing of the past.
I hope Via can do well in the field of CPUs. I'm also looking forward to seeing what AMD can do in the field of combined CPU/GPU systems. It will be interesting to see what sort of performance can come of it but I'm also skeptical of the costs required to upgrade a combo processor.
Woah! I'm agreeing with Bill Gates on something!
Xbox live is basically a virtual "Lord of the Flies".
Hahaha who wrote that title? If the Wii is brining hardcore gaming to its knees, why did GTA IV just set world records for sales?
What does the Firefox address bar have to do with Games? Is someone just redirecting all Digg stories to N4G?
Why do you people validate these troll comments? Just ignore them.
To be quite honest I don't think either console is that much better than the other, graphically or otherwise.
For all of the posturing you see in these forums, I have yet to see one game appear on one that could not be run on the other with almost identical performance and video quality given sufficient development time.
Burnout was developed for the PS3 and the 360 was secondary, yet there are very few differences in the game. Most of the titles that were developed for the 360 a...
Hmmm.. Mark Terrano says the 360's at it's limit and Epic says they're managing to get more out of it. Who to listen to?
I can't wait. I just hope they fixed the whole loading issue from Fable. It drove me nuts.

It's crazy how many insecure PS3 fans there are on this site.
Blizzard is so slow with their expansions.
Hookers? Disgusting... you might as well just go to your local arena and rub your junk on the inside of the urinal...
They haven't dropped the price in North America yet because they still have market supremacy here. As soon as the PS3 comes close to passing the 360 in market saturation they'll drop the price. It doesn't make sense for them to sell the console for less than they need to if it's selling well.
Everywhere in Europe excepting the UK the Xbox isn't doing so well so it would make sense for them to try to make the console look more attractive with a lower price tag. The same goes for Japan...
The only problem that I can forsee with the Montreal chip is that everything will have to be programmed in C++ and French.
That's it for first part games. There are more than that being made.
Poor Rick. He's obviously making desperate attempts to validate the purchase of his console and the only way he can do that is by coming here and commenting on Xbox 360 news.
I'm sorry that you're unhappy and unfulfilled by your console Rick. I'm sure that deep down you're not such a petty person.
Actually it would make no sense for the developer to try too hard to make the game different on different consoles. If you going to make a game and you make it different for each console that you release the game on, you end up with higher operating costs.
Would you like to end up paying more for the game due to them making a special version each time? I wouldn't think so.
It's kind of an uninspiring list... Everything that's worth talking about is already well known by the gamers. I dunno. There had better be some really cool announcements.
Is Peter admitting that he no longer has a heart?
