I'm so sick of Bungie. I'm a 360 owner. That's all I have, but I cannot see why people think Halo 3 is so great. It's not. It's pretty bland.

I happen to think it's awesome that PS3 owners will get to play Bioshock. Some of my most recent memorable moments in gaming were from playing this game and I think it's silly to refuse that to specific people based on the console they've chosen to purchase.

They won't do a UK only release as they want to release for the entire continent at once but they won't do the same here in North America. I don't know about Mexico but Canada is sure getting f'd over.
Yeah... so much for the whole "continental" release. If they can't manage to get that done right in North America why should they bother on a world wide scale?
The weird thing about Duke Nukem is that it has gained fame by not coming out. I've seen so many screenshots of that game over the years that I'm not even sure what it's supposed to look like now.
heh... if there's anything the internet has ever taught me, it's that there are people who will spend more than 2 days working on these levels and there will be astounding stuff out there. Of course one of the other things the internet has taught me is that 75% of those will be porn.

I still get a kick out of everyone talking about how Microsoft is stealing the XMB from Sony. If you click on the link below you'll notice the picture looks an awful lot like the new 360 menu doesn't it? It's the Windows Media Center menu! Originally released in 2002, approximately 1 year before Sony implemented it on the PSX, it seems as though Microsoft has actually stolen....
...their own interface! :O
By putting the game out for both consoles they're expanding their audience. More games sold is more income. It's not just Microsoft sending them money. I'm sure Microsoft has given them some incentive for publishing the game on the 360 but it isn't the only reason they're porting it.

Indeed it could have but games need to sell copies and there are more DS owners out there than PSP owners. It's strange how companies like to make money when they write software.

Well I'm pretty sure they won't copy Nintendo as far as wasting an entire E3 keynote by showing off nothing but crap games. :)

Yeah, I've been wondering about that for a while. If they focus on a market that doesn't value the best graphics, how are they going to convince them to buy the next console? If everyone has a Wii and they are satisfied with Wii Sports they're not going to want to get a new console when Nintendo wants to start selling them again.

They were probably waiting to see what Killzone 2 looked like before saying anything. The publisher said, "wtf Killzone 2 looks pretty good! Bungie?! Make your stuff look better than that!"
id's next engine looks sweet and they're developing it to run on all consoles to each of their strengths. I can't wait to see it in all it's Carmacky goodness.
