Ouch! It seems to me as though the Wii just became the fad it's been boasting that it's not.
If you read any of the interviews that are out there you'll find out that id is developing for all consoles simultaneously. What you see there is what will end up on PC, 360 and PS3. They've been very careful to make sure this game runs 100% on all platforms. That's one of the things I've noticed about the engines that John Carmack makes, they rock.
It's just another classic example of Microsoft taking something that's been around for quite some time, not improving it, branding it as their own, and then trying to charge money for it.
With Xbox nobody has a choice, with PC? Good luck.
Well the one nice thing about id in comparison to Valve is that they're building their own PS3 version and it looks like they've been putting a lot of effort into getting it to run with the same performance numbers as the PC and 360 versions.
PS: Don't eat vomit. It's bad for your teef.
Lol rip-offs? How about, Sony and Nintendo didn't have an online service until Microsoft put out Live.
Who's copying who?
How do links to feathers become news?
very senior UK industry source = wears adult diapers and drools a lot
I don't believe you will find any articles with quotes from an Epic employee stating that there would be.
All of the hints at 4 player co-op was "rumor and speculation".
I don't understand why everyone is so angry that a company would try to make money. It only makes sense for any company who isn't first party to go multiplatform.
Remember, Final Fantasy was originally Nintendo. Why isn't everyone angry with Square Enix for not publishing the game on the Wii?
Childish and immature.
a user of computer games? You make it sound like a drug. :)
Typical Nintendo. Sell you a controller and then make you purchase 15 accessories for the damned thing.
What Burnout could use are some more game modes put into the existing game. Not that the game isn't a riot but more variety is always good :)
It has a look that borders on epic. After seeing both videos I still don't have enough information about the game to make any fully formed opinion other than. Nice cut scene.
What idiot does a comparison between two versions of a hi def game by displaying it in a video of that poor a resolution? That was horrible. The only difference I could see was that the contrast was cranked on the 360 version.
Someone take away that person's keyboard and video capture equipment. They don't deserve it.
How many times are they going to release the same game?
A large part of the fun of the GT5 and Forza series games is being able to see a large variety of cars while you're racing. One of the downsides to them is when everyone constantly picks the same cars over and over. When this occurs you basically get what Ferrari Challenge is offering.
Well if you compare the cost of an iPhone or iPod touch to the cost of a PSP. The PSP still wins out. Not only that but even with the video being so blurry I was still able to see some pretty low polygon count on the big dude there.
If Sony puts a bit more effort into getting good titles on the PSP it'll win over the iPhone.
People are so gullible. He was having fun at the kiddies expense.
OMGZ 30 dollars off? Now I can buy Mom that operation.....
No extra cost. Wii Sports Resort will debut at an affordable cost of 90 dollars. :P
