Explain how it is "embarrassing"? If you don't like it, you don't like it. I just don't see where it is embarrassing.
Wow, the bitterness of those who haven't even played the game (because it isn't even out yet) is hilarious and pathetic all at the same time. Fastnslow, time to grow up a little.
@ Utalkin2me....Go away bitter, little troll.
I don't think it is a direct capture.
Still have my Neo-Geo, SNES, Genesis and other classic consoles ready to go when I want to play some retro goodness! Tons of fantastic games on those old work horses!
BC is a big deal especially for those who haven't upgraded yet. Being able to play ones old library without having to switch between two systems is a welcome option. Also for younger gamers there are so many AAA games last gen that when they are offered in BC it simply brings more playing options to the table. If the PS4 had BC and the X1 didn't we all know you would be talking that option up as if it was the greatest thing in the world..
They aren't a believer in BC because the PS4 isn't powerful enough to do it. That's another reason why they are bringing out a PS4.5...so they can do BC.
...and the desperately pathetic pony's who so easily fall for a click bait article are out in force defending to their last breath a video game! How dare anything be compared to an Uncharted game! Blasphemy! LOL!..You tweens are a sad bunch! I would say get a life or go on a date but we all know that will never happen. Shocker!Oh well.
If Sony releases a Ps4k this coming Christmas (or soon after)along with its VR I would think it would be in MS's best interest not to release anything for at least two more years, minimum. There is a good chance Sony may deal with a backlash from angry PS4 owners and potential new consumers who might get confused over the two systems. If that happened MS still wouldn't be able to catch the PS4 this gen, but it could close the gap with overall sales a bit. Also in two years 4k gaming o...
I enjoy my X1 a great deal and it is very similar to the PS4 (no matter what fanboys say), so I never seriously considered both. If the PS4.5 is really happening and it is roughly twice as powerful I would get it. I would still have the X1 for its console exclusives I enjoy and the new revamped PS4 for the cross plats...and the one or two Sony exclusives I may enjoy as well. I say go for it Sony!
Dont need an X1.5...Just bring out a ram expansion (ram pack) so those who want can play the games at a constant 1080p/60
Did you play it Travis? How do you know what score it deserves or not? Seriously, how old are some of the commentators on IGN?
There more to this than graphics upgrade. According to Sony the PS4 can not do any BC with PS3 games. More powerful hardware would probably allow that. Of course more games would play at a constant 1080p/60fps with higher res textures throughout and full AA. What's not to like.
Whatever you say child...X1 has sold over 20 million units in two and a half years. Not as much as PS5, sure but still exceptionally well! You little fanboys just keep making up the most hilariously stupid facts in your tiny heads. "proper console" LOL! Just stupid!
It might not be a gimmick but it certainly won't ever become standard. It is like 3D movies. Some people love watching with 3D glasses on many don't. Many don't like wearing something if they don't have to for others it may cause headaches or it may just be uncomfortable for others. I'm sure it will be fun, but it certainly won't be for everyone...and yes, price is a huge factor to just about every casual gamer who makes up the majority of the consumer base. You really...
PS4 was NOT made with VR in mind. It is a five year old PC gaming rig at best. You really should think before you write nonsense.
What? What kind of fan boy child are you? Seriously kid, grow up a little, or at least troll somewhere else! Grownups talking here.
Add six or seven shots of honey whisky and it would be the time of our life!
It has yet to be seen if VR will be big sellers for PC and especially PS4. Strong interest right now sure, and there will without doubt be a very good initial push by hard core gamers when it is first released, but time will tell if the casual gamer and mom and dad who buy for the kids line up in droves to buy it. Will be fun to see how it all pans out. For MS, I would think they will wait for the gen of systems (or upgrades) before they make a large investment for an add on like this. Xbox V...
Why are there so many bitter Sony users on an X1 article? Go play your PS4 if it is so great instead of constantly trolling on X1 comment boards. Also, the best Xbox lineup ever? That is a matter of opinion, but only trolls will deny that the X1 has had a good line up of exclusives since launch.
