Sony, MS and Nintendo start developing their new system right after they first release their current one. R&D never stop. It is too soon to realistically think about a new release for Sony and MS though.
That's easy... People want a Nintendo system, but they want one that has the power to bring in third party developers. WiiU didn't do that but the NX might be able to. The PS4 and X1 are significantly more powerful than the WiiU and have the third party support and therefore the games. Too early for a new PS or Ms system but not the case for Nintendo.
Hmmm... So, consoles in the future will be able to do things the past gens couldn't? I guess my dream for the return of 16 bit consoles will have to wait.
He still is entitled to his opinion no matter what you think or how the article was written.
MS has done a great job with the X1...EXCEPT its introduction! That will go down as one for the ages as what not to do! The E3 intro and the negative media it brought for many months after without question cost MS millions of units...where those consumers mostly went to Sony and the PS4. Can't change the past, but MS has done an almost flawless job the past two years with the MS, its features, updates and exclusives. I just hope MS remembers this gen when it is time to introduce the next ...
See, Sony has only sold 30 million units to one million very confused consumers...and 5 million to actual gamers.
(before some get bent out of shape I am obviously being sarcastic)
It's no big deal really..The overall visual fidelity is hardly noticeable if at all...It is just something for the faniest of fanboys to argue over.
If I didn't see the difference in others games that use this I won't see the difference here...Of course the fanboy trolls will have something to say in regard to that, but does anyone really care what those infants say?
Well, liberal pawns need something to lower their IQ even more, so why not this.
No, that is something Obama the dictator would do.
Watch out jcc737...Even though you are 100% correct the 14 year old PS4 fanboys and the 30 year old PC master wasters living in their mom's house will vilify you for stating facts!
SFV will make fans happy, but it isn't a "system seller". A few die hards will pick up a PS4 for it but not many as far as a casual gamer demographic is concerned.
Good to see both platforms are still improving and getting optimized.
The outcome?... that the PC will deliver a higher res and frame rate (for higher end rigs) bit at the end of the day the differences will be minimal at best? That outcome?
What? For one thing, what "facts" do you know about DX12, since it has only been out a few months now. Give us examples, not quotes from developers from last year. Tell us all exactly what is has been and has not been doing on both PC and X1...Go for it. Oh wait you can't? Looks like you are part of the "certain group of people". LOL!...Oh wait...shhhhh, lol....
8 gig of ram is a pretty good amount of memory but for the PS4 Sony should have offered 10 gig and for the X1 MS should have offered 12 gig of the slower DDR3 ram to get what most developers would have liked. It wouldn't have cost much more. Not doing that doesn't make the new consoles bad, they just won't be remembered as powerhouses down the line.
Now that Islamic countries are saying chess is not allowed under Islam what will happen to console users in Germany once Islam takes over that country in a decade or so?
Watch out magicandude...PS4 players don't have much to play so they look for X1 articles to troll on.
Hasn't every developer throughout gaming history said that they were optimizing whatever system they were working on?
Vectrex was such an awesome system! I never did get one, but a friend had it! Was a blast! One of the few systems of the day that could do arcade perfect ports...If it was a vector game that is! so much fun!
