I think he and Sony execs are the only ones who don't like the idea.
What's the point of coming on to an article about a console and commenting when it is obvious that you have no interest in it and no desire to purchase one... If you are over 14 years old you may want to stat acting like it.
Ms knows full well that Sony may begin a bit of a power creep with the Neo... I have a feeling the Scorpio has room to grow a bit more and may be released even more powerful than what we have been able to see so far. I guess the ball is in Sony's court now. I wonder if the Neo is powerful enough for whatever timeline and price-point they want or will they attempt to close the spec gap with Scorpio. They know full well that the PS4 sold more mainly because it was more powerful and all the ...
Who cares? PC gamers have always bought a pc while console gamers have purchased a console. It's a non issue. This also means the Xbox brand will be getting more pc exclusives in the long run...It is a win/win.
I haven't even heard of some of these...I think Phil was talking about games people will actually purchase.
there are still more exclusives that I want to play on the X1 over the PS4 so that's all I need to know.
Let's hope Nintendo doesn't do the same thing with the new console...Would love for 3rd party developers to release more on a Nintendo system.
The biggest leaps are now in lighting, effects and higher frame rates. Levels and overall game design haven't changed all that much since the 360/PS3...What these new systems will do is take a game to the next level with fantastic lighting, higher resolution textures, better frame rate, full AA and of course output at a higher resolution. Yes it will be the same game on the X1, but with what he Scorpio can do, that same game will look leaps better and most likely play smoother. To some th...
True at some point the "older" systems will have to be left behind but it will still be nice knowing any future system you purchase will be able to play any game back to the 360 (most if not all on the 360 at least). As far as developers making Scorpio only games? I don't see that happening for a little while...maybe until mid gen of the new system simply because developers will need to make money and until Neo or Scorpio have a large enough user base games will appear on both s...
LOL..."gamers"" (and I use the term loosely) such as saywat247 and naruga say they don't care yet they are so butthurt they still have to troll on it? That tells me you care a lot. Don't cry, get a real system such as an X1...It has more than 2 good exclusives on it.
I will admit that there are way too many Sony crybabies on here saying they don't care...Why waste the time to troll if you don't care?....Is the average age of a PS4 owner 12? Seriously kids, go do something productive!
If true nice exclusive for the X1...Not a console seller, but still a good game.
Well, it will alienate some X1 users but with PS4 having an almost 2 to 1 lead there are more potential consumers to alienate on Sony's side of the fence so with the Scorpio the math dictates it will anger less people because there are less people to anger.
"Will Xbox's Scorpio Take the Sting Out of PS4K?" Ps4...no...PS4k...definitely. If Sony's Neo comes out with the expected specs most looking to do VR on consoles will head to the Scorpio.
Maybe... I think under $500 but over $399... $429 to $479 would be my guess.
I'm just curious if Sony has time to change the specs of the Neo and if they do will the Scorpio follow with even higher specs..I do think Sony does have a problem to bring out a system as powerful as the Scorpio in the time frame they want to release it in with a price point that won't drive consumers away.
What you just said will hold true for the Neo as well. It is a significantly more powerful system than the PS4 and games will be built around that and scaled down for PS4...The same thing has been done on pc's for years and no one complains. A non issue. They won't look awful at all. Just lower res and maybe lower frame rates with of course less lighting.Same as now compared to higher end pc's...yet the games still look amazing on the consles...They will just look more amazing on ...
Its not like they are bringing out a new system every year... Four to four and a half years is reasonable and don't forget if you don't want to upgrade you can still purchase scaled down version of the same game on X1...Not a big deal. More options is only better for gamers.
It won't matter...once the Scorpio is released. Sony has this gen...or this portion, but it is doubtful the Neo will be able to match the Scorpio in raw power and performance once final specs are released, and no matter what gamers showed this past gen that overall power does matter.
