1440p/60fps standard would be very welcome
No, if true that would just make it a console that can play more games than any other console...Oh, the horror.
"IF" true this will be huge! Take it with a grain of salt until it is 100% confirmed or officially denied.
The point? Now console gamers can have the best of both worlds...add the BC of most 360 games and all that adds up to a huge explanation point as far as I'm concerned. "IF" what this article states id true.
You're kidding right? Meh, I wouldn't expect someone who goes online for the only propose of trolling to understand a comment directed at trolls. Oh well. Maybe you should read the comments on here. A article about an MS product and look what is all around, mostly PS owners who do not and will not ever own an MS console spewing idiocy after idiocy...trolling. My first comment is accurate.
LOL, sooo many Sony trolls on here, an article that isn't even about Sony. If the PS exclusives were so good these children would be playing the games, not mindlessly trolling.
Atari allowed its properties on other platforms and computers. It did quite well in every aspect until the gaming crash of the mid eighties which had nothing to do with their first party games going elsewhere. What MS is doing will only make them money. Those who game on PC often don't game on console...All this is doing is opening up another audience for their games. That decision will not affect their console gaming much if any. How is making more money a bad thing? It will only benefit...
LOL, what? Seriously kid, lay off the fan-boy Kool-Aid a little!
Nothing came close to Halo that gen.
Picked up the Seagate at Costco last year when it was on sale $79 or $89, I forget which. Very good external drive. No problems yet and still have a lot of room on it.
X1s isn't a new console or a "real" upgrade spec-wise. It basically offers a very slight performance boost and a 4k drive.
Not sure what you mean...Everything on the Scorpio as of now is pretty much speculation. Some news/rumors from reliable sources, sure, but still nothing concrete has been released about it.
2018??? Not a chance! Sony will not release new hardware every two and a half to three years. Their shareholders would riot! 10 tflops? If people think the Scorpio will be too expensive at $500(estimate) in late 2017 that would put the new PS system way out of reach for the average consumer in 2018 unless Sony is prepared to take a huge loss on each console...again giving shareholders fits. PS5? Maybe Christmas 2019 but most likely Mid 2020, especially if they want at least 10 tflops. Sony is...
All Sony did with the PS4 was use the 360 "strategy". Sell a powerful console at a consumer friendly price without adding unwanted baggage. Kind of a no brainer. "IF" MS did the same thing with the X1 from the beginning this gens "race" would be closer. Seems to me MS may have learned a valuable lesson with the upcoming Scorpio if everything reported on it is true...All they need with it is a few more high end MS exclusives and a decent price point. Too early to ...
What? OK, Naughty Dog is a very good developer but imagine Halo or Gears using five teraflops. Seriously, loyalty is nice, but lame fanboyism is just pathetic.
Scorpio will be going against the Neo...When these new consoles are in full swing few will give a rats ass about the X1 or PS4.
That may be true, but MS does have a lot of ground to cover. They can certainly do just that, but they have to do everything right. The Scorpio is a step in the right direction!
Money is the only thing that talks and I can guarantee you that the PS3 doesn't make a lot of it these days.
Well said, but haters are going to hate.
Price point. Ease of access. Backward compatible...many reasons.
