In your opinion. I say it is the other way around because I don't like online MP or racing games. There is nothing on the xbone for me. Halo 5 campaign sucks, and the multiplatform games run better on the PS4 with higher resolutions and better graphics most of the time.
@Septic
The problem is that you state your opinion as fact in the title making it click bait.
The title should have been "To me Xbox One beats PS4 Three Holiday Seasons in a Row" or "In my opinion Xbox One beats PS4 Three Holiday Seasons in a Row" Then it would have been no big deal.
If I posted an article "The Xbox one consistently lags behind PS4 in resolution and graphical performance every year" that is a fact...
@ziggurcat
While the Order is not "800p" it is also not a full 1080p. GPUs go by pixels computed not a bunch of aspect ratio numbers. 1920 x 800 is still a lighter load on the GPU than 1920 x 1080, it just is. That being said it is still slightly more than 900p so still better than Ryse in resolution.
@Septic
The Order is mostly a cover shooter. There are QTEs (too many for my taste) and cutscenes but also allot of shooting parts. I liked having the cutscenes, my only gripe is the game should have been twice as long.

And Ryse isn't linear? Which version did you play, did they remake it or something? Did they add whole new gameplay to the PC version? The PC version probably does look much better than the xbone one but still.
There are a few levels in The Order that while linear are not like a single path. There is the garden level that is not so linear.
4K is not that important. As pixels get smaller and smaller it is diminishing returns unless TVs are all going 80"-100". On a regular TV your eye can't pick out pixels when they get to a certain size, they are too small. 480p to 720p was very noticeable, 720p-1080p was pretty noticeable, 1080p to 4K mostly noticeable if you sit super close or have a huge TV, otherwise not that much.
60FPS and better lighting, shadows, textures, LOD is much more important.
Yeah, a lower level.
The "end" was disappointing to me because basically there wasn't one. The game just stopped just when the story got going.
It was basically a cover shooter with a good story and visuals. That is ok. I would have liked it more if they finished the game. 4 more hours, and an ending would have made it great.
I got The Order cheap and played through it. It seemed to me the game was going to be much more ambitious but due to the time it took to do the amazing environments they simply started to run out of time and budget. They then used QTEs and had to end the game sooner than they were planning to get it out. It seemed rushed. In the end it ended up being a decent but short cover shooter with a good story and great graphics. To me the most disappointing thing was the "end" which seem...
Never buy season passes. All it does is encourage studios to rip content from the original release to sell you for extra money later.
Many understand what they are doing, and we don't like it. They are taking complete control of your hardware and dictating how you use it. These guys are control freaks, and want to get into your sh!t. It should have been obvious when they unveiled the x1 always online DRM crap.
So Microsoft isn't worried about piracy? They allow external drives.
Yes service based. They own your money, You own nothing. Publisher s wet dream.
Maybe you need to read the article. It says the PS4 version bests or at least matches the xbone in all cases after the patch, and that the xbone has an overall worse frame rate.
I will take the more powerful one where games hit 1080p much more and often has better effects and foliage etc too. The UIs and Updates that xbox fans bang on about are good for them. I don't play updates or UIs though, I play GAMES.
I have far better BC than the lame xbone re-download a recompiled DRM filled digital version of a select few titles, it is called an Xbox 360.
What is a Wii U?
The grass may be green over there too but it has been downgraded and has less blades of grass. It is only 900p too.
Yeah the xbone has some good games but they made it too weak this time. Hopefully the nextbox will be a monster.
Parity. Bethesda has their nose firmly up MS arse. Dem xbone "marketing deal" checks...
Sorry bud no fanboy just pure logic. All versions look the same, all versions were downgraded the same, parity. MS does have a marketing deal with Bethesda for this game, another fact. If some artificial parity wasn't used here then the PS4 would look a little better or run a little smoother than the xbone and the PC would be best all around and would have not had the shadow downgrade happen AT ALL.
The only ones that think this simple logic is a fanboy comment are th...
