Depends really. 'EA the company' has publicly stated their support for Nintendo and when 'EA the employees' go against that, it makes things... difficult and then Nintendo feels bad.

For reference, here's a list of regions where Azure is currently available and can be seen if you have an Azure subscription (Amazon EC2 has similar locations): East US, West US, North Central US, South Central US, Japan East, Japan West, North Europe, West Europe, Southeast Asia, East Asia
There are typically a few datacenters in each region for capacity etc. Supposedly there's a region in South America...
Maybe it's because Watch_Dogs got all GTA'd up (GTA V got the same rating). In the most recent trailer we see brutal combat, cop fights, and shooting up police and civilian cars (bonus points for riding on top of a train too).
They could have demonstrated the hacking, robin hood nature of Aiden, and the investigative nature of the plot but chose to show GTA in Chicago instead.
Hmm, why did they GTA-ify it? Here's a rundown of that trailer in order, everything is something you'd see in GTA and is not true to what Watch_Dog was meant to be (hacking, investigation, etc)...
- Opening shot of a city overlooking some water
- Followed by some train-riding antics, perhaps other crazy stunts implied
- Next comes physically abusing some punk
- Awesome, now we're beating up some cops!
- Next is hoping over cop cars...

Why not both? Certain genres and artistic styles lend themselves to photorealism and some do not. Given the same gameplay, I'd much rather experience it in the world that we saw last year rather than this one.
This time it's actually not even about resolution or framerate for me. It's about the quality of textures, lighting, and art style in general. The day time shots just look bland, GTA-esqe, and do not fit in with the tone of what was shown the prior 2 yea...
The beta occurred less than 30 days from release. Chances are the game was already being certified at that point and being sent off for printing the first shipment (which arrived Feb 27th). This update may very well be the changes made as a result of beta.

A firmware update upping the CPU and GPU clocks even moar! Memory bandwidth be damned.
That said, they probably could've pushed those 2 higher last year with the massive enclosure, fan, and external power brick. Even if it would be limited by memory bandwidth in normal operation, let the future devs creatively take advantage of that somehow rather than limiting the system right up front...
I recently watched a twitch streamer going through all FFXIII games in order. As the games went on I kept getting the sense that FFXIII was the best in the series for story/character development -- it had the foundations of the story, a sizeable cast of characters, 3 people in combat etc.
The sequels just refined combat and exploration. The series really need to be combined in a way: a mix of FFXIII's cast of characters and party system, Caius as the enemy, and Lightnin...
Weird. I jump into all the 'betas' I can get my hands on :) Games, hardware, services etc. Sure, many are 'free' betas but I got plenty of use during this 3 month beta period lol.
It's a separate issue why Microsoft, already having the 360 for 8 years, was still 3 months behind on so much stuff. Even for the "TV TV TV" stuff, I heard that April will be the month that more of that comes online.

Xbox One already has a Twitch App that allows you to watch any stream you want - with achievements to boot. This is an update that now allows you to Broadcast game and video while also seeing your chat.
You can also go to Twitch.tv in the Xbox One's browser as well but that doesn't allow you to broadcast etc.
The only thing left for them is exclusives really. As much as Phil wants this "best platform", he probably won't get it due to the hardware he has to work with.
Phil should have done something about the situation in 2010 instead of 2014 and averted the mess entirely.
