If xbox were to get back compat some time soon, would that change things much for you?
Everyone should take the survey if for nothing else but to select "No" when asked if you play mobile / phone games.
This is primarily a PC event.
I expect to hear things like PC to xbox multiplayer and a resurgence in using Xbox Live technology inside the desktop (friends notifications etc.) and PC games (multiplayer/matchmaking over Live)
This... this is probably the best thing to come out of Destiny since the original hyped vision of Destiny some years ago.
You know, what constitutes "indie" really these days? The publisher? The team size? The business model? Just any old independent studio like Valve even?
Do Rime and Tomorrow's Children really count as "indie" as they're published by SCE and seem to be within standard business model practices? What makes those games indie?
Now if there was only a way to get Nintendo software onto the other 2 right? Pokémon, Zelda, Smash, Metroid, Bravely Default, etc.
Yeah, I mean there's no other way to put it :)
Take any size square texture and doubling its size will always yield 4x total area.
Even if the car was drivable, I'd probably be on foot anyhow. I'm anticipating I'll only be using the car for fast-travel-esque times when I've already been through an area thoroughly.
Beyond the "we don't want to make people think FF is all about driving" I'm guessing that the map is just not ready for players sneaking peaks everywhere yet (for bugs as well as content that's not ready or might not even be in the final game).

What goes down more often, the Xbox One's price or PSN?
Is there a way to setup my n4g account such that I do not see any articles rooted from twinfinite?
I... I just thought there would be so much more :(
I convinced myself that they were just using the beta as a networking test and that the story content would be kept aside until launch.
Both of my pre-order are from Amazon and they always ship pretty freakin close to the release date (like 3am that morning) so there's little ways to stop it once the calendar flips over.
Pre-ordering itself costs nothing - you're not charged until it's released so it's a very easy thing to do.
Then comes the bonuses. Most bonuses are pure junk though and are either cosmetic or trivial in consequence.
Some bonuses, like access to betas or larger content items, are perhaps more enticing especially if you had resigned yourself to buying at or near full price anyhow..
Sadly I'm at fault. After not pre-ordering at all last-gen, I've pre-ordered twice this gen. Once for Destiny (big ouch) and now once for FF-Type0.
I was blinded by the beta opportunity for Destiny and picked it up, but boy do I wish I had waited and paid <40 for it instead of the full 60.
FF-Type0 enticed through its FFXV demo and Type0 is a relatively known entity since it's already been released (we kind of already know what we're getti...
Pretty cool. My wish list so far:
- A more meaningful "career" mode with qualifiers, seasonal point standings and cup races, and longer races for pit strategy
- Let's see what removing Kinect, building on recent SDKs, and a little more CPU can do!
- Time of day / weather wouldn't hurt :)
- Really curious to see how Drivatars evolve as well
@drpepperdude - Wait, you want to continue paying 180 a month instead of 70 because that is too high already?
Really? Drop the cable and keep internet. Then sign up for 4 different $10 a month services like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and another. That would _still_ save you 70 dollars a month - enough to cover an entire year of xbox live for instance...
If they can get the movement and design of the clothing and hair right as indicated on the cover, that just might be worthwhile...
You should get rid of the box then. Dropped my Comcast bill down $85 from 160 to 75 a month...
Whoa what? I didn't know they were also doing a custom Xbox One too.
In any case, wtf SE, bring that deal to the US :-/
Was that a zombie joke in the making?
What you're seeing is the 'core' 50 million or so folks buying consoles as they were so thirsty from the prolonged life of last generation. Both PS and Xbox sales velocity will remain high until those 50 million have a console.
The interesting part comes after that. First you'll see those same 50 million or so becoming dual and tri console homes. Then you'll see some slight leakage into the population which seems to live off of phone/tablet games... Gen...
