^This makes so much sense.
Sad. You people find some way to do this for every remotely negative article/review of a popular or anticipated PS exclusive. Just sad to see. Even worse when you realize this kind of opinion is the most popular on the n4g comments section. This isn't exclusive to PS ofcourse, happens for all popular games. I guess it's just a result of more PS players on the site + a large % of people being fanboys in general.
Maybe actually address the points the author made ? No...
@DeadlyOreo
You and the rest of the n4g PS circlejerk are a joke.
Absolutely brilliant. Don't consider anything the author says, just say "Muh just bcoz you are polygon and you hate Playstation"
I'm not surprised though, it's what I see here every single time an anticipated PS exclusive gets an article like this, or even a low score. I'm not saying XBOX fanboys don't do the same. No one can accept an arti...
@hirobrotagonist
How do you know there isn't another planet hundreds of times bigger than all the planets we've seen already ?
The fact is that the planets in NMS are very small. Hundreds of times smaller than real life. Makes me wonder why they specifically said they will have planet sized planets. I heard that multiple times too ! Was that a downgrade as well ?
Sure it doesn't affect gameplay, but a big part of the who...
They specifically said you will have planetsized planets. Yet here we are with planets being atleast hundreds of times smaller than real life planets.
and before anyone says "that would be too big for gameplay"
It doesn't matter if you have a 20 mile diameter or 5000 mile diameter. No one is going to explore the entire planet in either case. So no, the overall size doesn't even affect gameplay. It's not like the 20 mile planet is a carefully cra...
It should be noted that we're not too happy when exclusives such as Crysis became multiplatform. However, that's not just because "we want exclusive", it's because of another legitimate reason, ie- Downgrading the game in terms of graphics and simulation, simplified gameplay etc.
In the case of Divinity and Torment, it's really quite fine, because it doesn't have those issues.
Depends on the game. Infinity Blade, for example was a great game built around the phone control scheme. Great graphics, addictive gameplay that was difficult to master. Sure it has limited scope, but it's still a high quality experience.
No cover system was intentional. It's not their fault people stand still and shoot because they're used to other games.
Their lighting tech is also super impressive btw. Haven't seen any other game do what they're doing with lighting and rendering (although the graphics are simplistic in other aspects)
"They're upgrades to the current consoles."
They're very big upgrades, with many times the graphical power.
They're going to have to lose that 'no exclusive' thing at some point in the future though. The difference you'll see when devs like Naughty Dog make a Neo exclusive...
Same goes for Scorpio exclusives
no lol, expect to wait a looong time. Still some very exciting stuff coming though. If they manage to give us what they are planning for by the end of the year (and IF it actually works well), minds will be blown.
and that's only on DX11. You won't believe how much money she gets on DX12
yep,they'll probably officially announce that in October, but this was totally expected tbh. I don't have a problem with 2017 IF they show some really good progress at Citizencon. They are trying to make a very ambitious SP campaign Let's see how it works out.
I read Peter's blog and Sarah's website after Liam told me about it, and I can tell you that 55earnbus.com is way better than this. Just ask James he will agree with me
Graphics were great and all, but seeing that second gameplay demo... The gameplay just looks like so much FUN. Animations were awesome, feedback seemed satisfying, action was fast and exciting even to watch.
"If your premise about violence is unproven, you can't use it as an argument supporting contradictions to 'perverted'
Well, it depends. IF 'perverted' is talking about anything related or leaning toward sexual harassment or violence, then they have a point. Rape in general is more distasteful and creepy than just violence - especially the idea of it. This is 100% true when talking about depictions of the same. Violence ,in most cases, means quick in...
Kind of irrelevant. They're just pointing out that this is basically a game about sexually touching someone who's telling you to stop. That's distasteful, and it's... not nice.
Honestly, I don't even understand why the devs want that. Why do that ? Why not make it so that the woman either doesn't react or react's positively ? That's distasteful and kind of disgusting, and the idea of enjoying virtually sexually harassing someone is also one t...
They're having more than enough trouble getting Star Citizen to run properly on PC right now, this includes netcode stuff and whatnot.
Massive improvement :)
