It's the same engine, but your tone is uncalled for.
Star Citizen has it's problems. This engine change is not one of them. It's Cryengine to Cryengine. The title is a little clickbait. Please read before commenting...
Sure, but not because of this engine change. They're both Cryengine.
No. They switched from Cryengine to Cryengine, essentially. No delay, no setbacks because of this. This changes nothing. They've got enough actual problems to worry about but that's not the point.
No, the engine is still Cryengine base. A very small and quick change that took them very little time and effort.
No, Lumberyard is Cryengine base, so no, it's not like they're switching engines. IT's like taking a different fork of cryengine, that's it.
The game might fail spectacularly, but this will have nothing to do with it. It's NOT an 'engine change' in the normal sense.
It's basically Cryengine.
A very small and easy change for CIG. They get whatever benefits from Lumberyard and AWS, while keeping all their custom stuff
A moment of darkness is nothing compared to the timeless Light of Gaben.
Online only is a good way to ruin a game
It's a fund dedicated to this. It's aim is to help improve/encourage the video game industry in the country. Studios like CDPR are valuable to the country. Governments often have funds like these. You could say "they don't need it" for tons of things, but that's not how it works.
I don't know... Infinite Warfare made some pretty big changes, and people were pissed because of that. They wanted to go back to COD 4 type gameplay.
Okay, look, having sexy characters is fine and all... but we also need to stop pretending that the devs did not intentionally sexualize said characters. Looking at that character, it's kind of obvious that she was meant to be sexualized.
The extreme example of this was MGSV's Quiet. You can give me all the reasons you want about her backstory, but you'd have to be really naive to think that the devs didn't intentionally sexualize her. Heck, Kojima himself basically ...
That's cool and all, but in-engine shots like these always look good. Besides, this is certainly not the best I've seen. I want to know what the game looks like, and I think it will be a while before I can see that.
Well Crysis 1 and Warhead are considered some of the best fps games out there by some. Crysis 1 was amazing to play. Sure the story kind of sucked, but the gameplay was epic imo.
I'd rather they improved performance and added some higher graphics settings. 60fps would be great but I doubt that would happen.
So what ? That makes no sense. It is always the case that some people don't like popular games. Why do people not get this ?
"The Last guardian getting a 4/10 from some unknown website that I've seen just today."
Sure, that's just an excuse. What happened when IGN and Polygon gave it a 7/10 ? Did you see the comments section. Same silly PS fanboy stuff (can be for any platform fanboy, ofcourse).
Come on guys, stop...
Or maybe some people just didn't like it, you know, like with every game ever.
That does not mean clickbait.
"A 4 out of a 10 should be a very flawed game to where game Mechanics dont work"
Fair enough, I can see your point here, but maybe the reviewer scores the games differently to other sites. Infact, that's almost always the case, atleast to some degree.
A 4/10 doesn't automatically mean the review is invalid. Besides, what if the reviewer's playthrough happened to be extra bad ?
Where are all the comments accusing Jim of being an XBOT clickbaiter PS hater ? See ? A lower score for a largely popular game doesn't automatically mean the review is hating on PS exclusives (or whichever platform)
Now what people here need to do is apply that same logic to other review sites as well.
It's already done. No one even noticed it. It took them a few days.
