"VR IS NOT FUN FOR GAMING, people fail to see this like kinect YET IT IS HAVING ALL THE PROBLEMS KINECT HAD. That should tell any reasonable minded person what this actually is."
VR is not kinect, no matter how many times you say it. VR completely changes the experience, and is about 10x more immersive and engaging than otherwise.
There are still lots of challenges to be solved before you'll have lots of full length, good quality games on VR. That sho...
In a game like Mass Effect, this is probably a good thing.
However a binary morality system is not always a bad thing.
In a game like Fallout, if you don't have Karma , what you're left with is dialogue and actions that often don't have believable consequences . This is because the simulation in game is not detailed enough to have believable consequences to all actions, especially since the game lets you do just about anything. Karma in Fall...
The CPU is only about 30% more powerful though. This is a limiting factor, and is a reason you might not see a jump to 60fps. Even so, the GPU is significantly more powerful.
Is Driveclub coming to pro at all ? Wasn't Evolution studios closed down ? It'd be awesome if they enhanced the game (which is already, in many ways, the most graphically impressive racing game ever made). Seriously, can't imagine what the game would look like.
Also, Driveclub VR could fix some of it's low resolution rendering, draw distance and IQ issues.
Sure, it shows it's age in certain aspects but it's been extensively upgraded, and the graphics quality in Infinite Warfare is pretty damn high. The general attention to detail in both visuals and sound is best in class, honestly.
Disagree. Some of the best fps gameplay in shooters was in Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead.
well, speak for yourself :P
Crysis 1 and Warhead were amazing to play for me. The gameplay was the best part about it - amazing graphics certainly helped.
Crysis 2, while not as good as the previous ones, was still an overall fantastic experience, and definitely more fun than the vast majority of shooters I'd played.
Haven't played Crysis 3 yet though.
Not bashing consoles here, but it's unfortunately true.
Crysis 2 dropped so much of what made Crysis 1 and Warhead an amazing fps. They dropped the open sandbox environments, and more importantly they downgraded and dropped so much of the simulation that made the first game feel alive and allowed you to play in so many different ways.
As an fps shooter, Crysis 2 was just... inferior in many ways.
At the same time, Crysis 2 did p...
ME2 is one of my favourite games of all time. It blew me away at the time.
Not having the space stuff in the multiplayer is a huge letdown, seeing what it brings to the campaign. Even so, the campaign looks very exciting, and I'm glad they are putting so much resources into making a quality campaign.
and so begins the arbitrary COD bashing, or any site that gives them a good review.
"and if they had more time to work on it, every feature would be in the final cut"
What makes you say that ? It's possible that they had to cut features simply because they didn't work or were too performance heavy. The game already struggles in some spots.
Does it really matter ? If they want to do that to the cover, I honestly don't mind.
can we not bash devs for no reason whatsoever ?
that makes no sense at all.
Gaming reviews are ultimately for the consumer. Giving journalists less time to do their reviews just means more rushed reviews, more people buying the game before reviews. ie Consumers don't have access to good information about the game before they purchase.
yeah, so nice to know that other gamers won't get to play this game...
I appreciate exclusive games for what they allow developers to do - Uncharted 4 was a prime example of that.
Doesn't change the fact that platform wars are incredibly silly
EDIT : nvm, just overreacting to a tongue in cheek comment... sorry... why don't n4g allow us to delete comments ? :P
Well, I really didn't expect it when I was watching the walkthrough. I was a little speechless both because of the beautiful moment and because I was surprised they would include something like this. Everything came together in terms of presentation - the visuals, the sound design, the music.
Very emotional scene for sure.
Hopefully devs make full use of it. They can really push the graphical features and increase Image quality as well
Honestly there isn't much to suggest an actual downgrade. It just looks different in some areas. Now I'm not saying it isn't downgraded. If the E3 demo was running on a PC, chances are that graphical features have been cut.
However, so many times people keep saying downgrade even though it's just a change in tone or lighting or something like that. The best way to know if something is downgraded is to look at specific features like number of shadows and shad...
Correct. The reviews that don't conform to your opinion must be payed reviews :P
