Some people love the simplicity of a console. No faffing around with drivers, messing with ini files, adding mods to fix issues devs were to lazy to fix, upgrading hardware that the average person would never even attempt... Just turn on and play.
PC has a lot of benefits over consoles but it's also nowhere near as accessible or as easy for most people.
Also having fixed hardware isn't a bad thing. It can optimised to its max potential. Find me ...
Warzone is dying? It's still pulling in insane numbers on Twitch and YouTube which suggests otherwise. Towards the end of every season it loses a bit of traction and as soon as the next starts which will be December 10th, everyone comes back.
This is the same article that will say Fortnite is dead when it still gets 7million concurrent players, a number most games will never achieve. Just because you lose interest in it, it does not mean it's dying.
Get Media Molecules Dreams. Same creators, same vision. You just have a a much broader scope with what you can do when creating a level/game
MW campaign is really good. The multiplayer is unbalanced in what way lol? All the major issues were delt with a long time ago. There's always going to be meta weopons in any competitive FPS, the same is happening in CW already a week after launch.
Zombies is a massive step backwards for Treyarch in almost every way and MWs engine shits all over CW from graphics, sound, animation, gun mechanics.
It's not a great game. It's not 35/100 though either. It's a 6 or 7 at best. You can tell Treyarch had the mountin of a battle to make 5 versions of the game, using scraps of the shitshow Sledgehammer games left them, during a global pandemic. For that, you can't be mad at them for the game feeling as rough as it does.
A global laughing stock? A game universally and critically acclaimed by almost everyone except spoilt brats who didn't like the way things planned out, homophobes and the wetwipes who were offended by Abby having big arms. Get a grip already.
You opinion sir is a the laughing stock of this.
You may save on the console when buying it but in the long run you'll lose money by going digital only. With disk you can get the game considerably cheaper than you would digitally almost every single time. If you're happy to spend 15-20 more on the same game you could buy cheaper physically then happy days, but for the most part, digital will always be more expensive on consoles.
Which is exactly why I'm not buying into next generation yet. There's no doubt the new consoles are powerful beasts but very few games available on the new consoles only, this is the first time I've decided not to buy day one.
Tbh is it even a big loss fo PS gamers? Broken games with reputation for bad graphics, animations, voice acting, glitches and bugs. There's a very long list of games I would be more concerned about losing than ES or Fallout.
Bethesda says hello
@alb, on paper the SX does have better hardware but that doesn't mean much when MS has very few first party studios who show us what their machine is capable of outside of Playground and Coalition Games, maybe Id Software now they have Bethesda. The size of console means absolutely nothing, smart delivery is cool and quick resume is literally on the PS4, it just doesnf do it for 6 games which IMO is pointless when so many games in 2020 are online and you will be disconnected from the serv...
The problems I listed stem way before Fallout 76 lol. All these issues have been in their games for decades and are always technically behind in comparison to other games released around the same time period. Yes, they write good plots, and interesting characters but the gameplay, the most important thing when playing a game, the dated graphics, the voice acting not out of place of a PS2 era game and endless lists of both major and minor bugs all of which would be blasted in the review proces...
Incoming another Bethesda RPG, full of game breaking bugs, laughable voice acting, below par graphics and dated gameplay that will get perfect scores when other games having the same issues will get trashed on.
Bethesda as a publisher has all these incredible studios under their belt such as iD and Tango, then they have their own self titled studio who are absolutely below par. A
Cut them some slack. They've had less than two years to make a game instead for the usual three year cycle because of how much Sledgehammer messed up and it shows.
I'm not defending Cold War because it is a step back but there's also reason for a inferior product. That being said Acti could have taken the year out considering MW is still riding high and the most successful game in the series but of course they wouldn't do that. It's Activision.
@Gamer and this "article" is an opinion piece. I'm giving my opinion on it. Just because you don't agree it don't make it right or wrong because it's just that, a opinion.
I mean if it's done right it's fine. TLoU2, Quantic Dreams, Mass Effect games etc then yeah, thats fine. It's adding to the narrative and character development I guess but I will never understand people obsession with wanting full on games centered around sex and perving on anime characters that look underage to me but people have their own kinks and there's clearly a market for it. Basically it's fine if it's not forced IMO.
Look at the hate Abby go...
Easy to use? Its decent but cumbersome to navigate. Why must you go into menu, into menu, into menu just to get to what you want? Forcing the Windows 10 into a console OS just don't work that great IMO. Each to their own I guess.
Treyarch were rush to make this. Less than two years to make a game because Sledgehammer messed up their that much which will no doubt impact the the COD title too.
Me too! Sony studios have pretty much mastered the third person/action genre at this point. Seeing all the advancements they've made over the years since the last Getaway game would be huge and this is coming from someone who is burned out on samey open world game.
A ton more games mostly being anime sex games, unfinished early access titles and small indie games most people won't bat a eyelid at is all I see when I check steam. Half Life Alyx has been the only noteworthy PC exclusive for a long, long, long, long time.
