Reddit was a mixed bag during the beta. Some loved it, some didn't. Like anything else. You must have focused on the negative.

Hardly wiping, just simply overtaking it. It don't change the fact the switch is a glorified port machine with a lot of old Nintendo games, old PS4 and XBO era games (that run worse), with a few new releases sprinkled in between.
This is a platform with a user base that threw their toys out the pram because Epic made there own store and offered free games but refused to use it cause their library and friends would be split... Nothing really surprises me with he pettiness that comes from some of the PC crowd. It's those few who are usually the most vocal too

Literally. Nearly every game with a battle pass has two tiers, free and premium. The free one you tend to get rewards every few levels, the premium you get something every level. I haven't been a fan of Halo or xbox since the 360 days but this is trying to shit on a game that follows what others do all the time lol
In a world where Split Second exists, Forza could never be the best racing experience for me. No racer will ever top that game for myself. I know its niche, Arcady and not amazingly known but I've never had as much fun in a racer outside of the Burnout series.

I loved the first game even with its faults but the semi openness if the second game didn't work as well in my.opinion. it's a shame a third will likely never happen.
Yeah it looks great for sure. I've watched a few people play it on PC and I'm interested to know it's transitioned to console.
I've been subbed to PS plus since the very day it started when all we'd get is PS1 and minis on PS3. PS Plus as a service was always about the games. Now they've made it a requirement for online play you mistakingly think these games are the bonus. They're not. We pay for access to the games via the subscription. They're not free so before running your mouth and giving it the big one, please educate yourself before calling people out.
Hell Let Loose looks great but it's not a casual game and a bit of a acquired taste. It's nice for people to dive in a d try it though. MKX is already on PS5 for free with the PS collection so that bad for PS5 owners and it was only two months ago everyone complained about a sports title being included as a game but yet they follow suit with another one 🤦🏻♂️
PS Plus started so well at the beginning of the year too.
Happens with most Bethesda titles. So many better games get scrutiny for issues a lot of Bethesda titles have but the scores never get affected,Fallout 76 being the exception even though F76 still maintained a lot of issues from the previous games.
I loved this game on release and recently went for another playthrough on the PS5 but I just can't. The frame rate and jaggies are to distracting for me these days. Great game though and cannot wait for for DL2
Every game is a mish-mash of previous games before it these days. To call out one game when every game, even more so in the AAA side of things, is wrong. No game would ever be a 10 again if every game got docked points for being influenced by other games. Awful review even if some of the things raised are true.
Bethesdas other titles such as TES and Fallout get perfect scores whilst being poorly optimised, bug ridden games with poor voice acting, bad animations and have dated graphics. If any other studio released a game in the same state as those two, they would be review bombed. Instead the industry gives then GOTY status so its not really surprising to see.
Arkane are great, so are iD and Tango but Bethesda Softworks get special treatment.
Correction, bethesdas other studios have been making really good games. Bethesda Softworks on the other hand are some worst on the industry and they always get a free pass. If any other game releases with bugs, dated animations, dated graphics, bad voice acting, piss poor performance, crashes etc they would be left out to dry but Bethesda get a free pass because it has good writing... The part we don't play ironically.
This. People love to hate what is popular. COD, Fortnite, mobile games etc. They're not for everyone but there's 100s of millions who are playing them. If it's not for you, play a different game or game mode which ain't a BR. Imagine if we had people moaning because the 10,000th multiplayer game had a TDM game type lol
